I HIGHLY recommend the lovely Lexi Heidenreich!!!!! I haven’t colored my hair in 3 years, so I was a little nervous, to be honest. I gave her my inspo pic and not only did she NAIL it, she explained how and why certain colors compliment skin tone, and the maintenance that goes along with the type of coloring you choose. She was VERY informative. She definitely knew her stuff, which helped me feel more confident in the color I wanted. She made me feel extremely comfortable, and did an absolutely exceptional job. Great job Lexi!!!

aubrey was AMAZING! i had at least 5 years worth of black, brown, and even red box-dye in my hair when i made the decision to start my journey to go lighter. i had my consultation with aubrey about two weeks ago and she was very thorough with explaining what i could expect with my first session and gave me a price estimate along with a breakdown of their prices so i could know exactly what i was paying for. my first session was yesterday and i am so pleased! the salon itself is beautiful and clean and all of the stylists were very nice and professional. thank you again aubrey!! i will definitely be back!

This is my third time going to get my roots covered and a balayage done to my hair. I booked online and I got placed with Jordan. She was an absolute delight since I sat in the chair. And just when I think she can’t get any better, she goes and outdoes herself again. I started from the darkest black you could be and she has lightened my hair significantly, and also made it not look “orangey” for me. Now we’re at a cool blonde how I wanted with still covering my grays. The staff is so upbeat and funny and always a joy when I come in. I finally look forward to going back to get my hair done because of Jordan. The woman knows her stuff on color. I’m absolutely impressed every single time. Thank you so much. You make me feel better every time I walk out.

I’m not one to leave reviews but Aubrey did such an amazing job on my hair, I just had to! She nailed the cut I wanted perfectly! It looks and feels so much healthier!! & most importantly, I feel even more confident because of it! I will absolutely be back to see Aubrey again!

Just had the best experience at Studio 815 with hair stylist Lydia! She was very knowledgeable about hair in general, answered any questions I had, and tailored my experience to my hair type. From start to finish it was a very relaxing and fun hair appointment, and I left glowing! My hair has never looked this good, and it’s all thanks to Lydia. Amazing staff. Natalie is SO good at edgy cuts. I typically cut my own hair because of past salon experiences, but Studio 815 is top notch. Can't recommend Natalie enough!!

Kara is a magician when it comes to hair extensions and just hair in general. The whole salon is modern and the staff is friendly and you get the extended family vibe! I have been to salons where they gossip about eachother and that does not happen at studio 815. I feel like the owners are the stylists biggest hype team too. That truly makes a difference.

Kara is amazing. She is kind, helpful, and very talented. I used to live in Chicago and had a hair stylist for years. When I moved here 5 years ago I tried numerous stylists but had no luck. For the first time in 5 years I’m in love with my hair. I got balayage and a cut. She also did a great job with highlights for my mom. The salon itself is great too. You can tell the stylists enjoy working there and get along well. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

I went today for a cut and highlights. Lydia was my stylist and she did amazing. It’s been years since I’ve gotten highlights and Lydia definitely exceed my expectations and was so sweet and professional. I have found my new favorite stylist and I can’t wait to go back. I never have had a bad experience with Studio 815. Jordan is my girl and got my eyebrows perfect for my wedding; can’t recommend Studio 815 enough! My sister, my mom, and myself love it there!

I had an appointment for a haircut. I got Jordan. I showed her a picture and she did it EXACTLY like the picture. She was even asking me if this is ok to cut it short and if I like the process. Very friendly and skit. I will definitely see her again. She did everything like I wanted. I recommend this place. Everyone is very friendly.

Kara slays every time! It was so hard to find a good stylist after moving to Rockford. I have been to Kara multiple times for hair cuts & eyebrow waxes over the past year - she always does a great job!

Stage 3 uterine cancer treatment had my hair falling out by the handfuls. However, young up incoming stylist, Maddy, handled me with care and was able to give me a stylish but yet practical cut for the stage of hair loss that I'm currently at. Thank you so much for handling my hair with care and for helping make this step of my treatment somehow seem less stressful. ❤ 💇‍♀

Danielle is good with my kids. She’s been cutting my oldest’s hair for 3 years and started cutting my youngest’s hair this year. Their haircuts are top notch. The kids get suckers after; which is what they care about. She’s a good stylist.
