The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the environment is clean and inviting. It's a great place to buy a bite or something to cook. I would advise this place to anyone!

I came into 640 meats with no expectations and was BLOWN AWAY. The bacon is literally divine. I feel like I got a glimpse of Heaven by eating it. It was, as the kids say, bussin. The sandwiches are equally as good, and if you throw bacon on that sandwich you will experience emotions you never knew existed. I know that sounds like an exaggeration but I did not stutter.

If you’re with me on this review, we’re still on a journey. They don’t just have sandwiches, they have many cold cuts and cheeses to take home and enjoy on your own time.

Also I had Rockfords award winning kettle chips and they hit the literal spot. Also the can of Dr Pepper, while standard, quenched my thirst.

We used 640 Meats for my daughter's wedding reception & the service could not of been better from start to finish!!!
The price was great, the food was great.
I cannot say enough good things about our experience. From the moment we called, setting up the menu, the delivery, set up & breakdown to all the amazing food.
We had BBQ pulled pork, ham, cheese scalloped potatoes, salad & mostacholli.

This place is outstanding in so many ways. First off, really nice, knowledgeable staff. Secondly, outstanding meats of every type, and thirdly, a first class lunch counter with freshly made sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, subs, and so much more.
If you've never been to 640 Meats, go check them out. If you're a regular, you know what I'm talking about!

Have been coming here for years for meat and have absolutely zero complaints. Tried eating lunch here recently for the first time — and was absolutely blown away. Incredible flavor, friendly staff, and great selection. 10/10.

One of the true AMAZING assets of Rockford. My family has been shopping here for years and years - this place has SUCH GOOD MEAT. And it's always had super friendly service to boot.

Recently it's gotten even better. They have a lunch deli set up now where you can get big delicious sandwiches made fresh. Their fridge section has pies and potato salads and all kinds of delicious to-go food stuffs that they prepared. And they've also got a freezer section with amazing prepared dinners that they also made personally - pot pies and pasta dinners and peach cobblers...

I just can't say enough. The quality, the variety, the service is all outstanding. I didn't even get to it all. If you have any interest in delicious local meat, please try this place.

Awesome place for lunch! The service was great, food was fresh, and plenty of variety to choose from! For those unfamiliar with the shop go up to the counter near the sandwich board and order, pay at the cash register near the door, and enjoy indoor or outdoor seating. In addition to sandwiches and fries made on the spot they offer prepackaged noodle salads, ham salad, rice pudding, cheese curds, and olives for sides out of the cooler.

Amazing experience! Super fun and friendly staff that really knew their stuff. Awesome food prepared fast and fresh at amazing prices. 10/10 will be returning every chance we get!

I absolutely love this place! They always have high quality fresh food. Everything is great but the brats are fantastic. You really have to try the Cheeto Brats! It might sound strange but try them and you will thank me! Everyone working there is very friendly and helpful too. Definitely check them out!

Anytime I have people over for a cook out I always go to 640 meats. The cheddar bacon burgers are amazing! Everyone loves them and it’s always a big hit. The sides they have are really good and the fresh baked buns are perfect

Just came into 640 Meats today for the first time. Everyone is very friendly. Had a barbeque beef sandwich that was delicious and very filling. Definitely going back again!

Such a hidden gem. I stumbled across this spot by accident… luckily I did, they have the best smoked tri tip sandwich!

Literally my favorite place to eat. The food is so fresh and delicious. The prices are excellent. They always the food correctly and everyone is so nice!!!! Cannot recommend enough.

No exaggeration,t best smoked salmon you will ever have ever in your entire life. Wow. First time I had it I told all my friends about it and said that I didn't even know salmon was able to be this good. Seriously, it's life changing. Go there Thursday - Sunday. Or don't, and just leave more for me. Either way.

Meat selection is huge and well priced. Everything seemed fresh and of great quality. Their subs were awesome too! The 640 sub was great. Only $8 for a sub, chips, and a drink. Hard to find that at any other place.

I absolutely love the food! Everything I've ever purchased there for lunch or to take home to throw on my grill, has been amazing! The workers are fun and always take great care of me! Love this place!

You cannot find higher quality food for lunch at a cheaper price! Burgers are ridiculously fresh, sandwiches are piled high, side dishes from potato salad to baked beans and more are in the cooler. Lunch today was a burger, fries, and slice of strawberry rhubarb pie for a grand total of $5.48, including tax!!
