Back Porch Drafthouse

Family get-together of 12. They took great care of all of us, including a pitcher of tea for the son in law, to save the waitress steps. We don't get all of us in one place often so this was a special time for us. Waitstaff was great!

What a wonderful restaurant and bar. Back Porch Drafthouse is a dream that has come true in South Temple. Located in the Gateway Mall btthe Cinemark Theatre. Great Burgers and Sandwiches along with some great draft Beers. They definitely know what they are doing. Not only classified as a sports bar but dining areas for the whole family to go too. I actually enjoyed it very much. Look for Macy, a fantastic Server that waited my table. Food and beverages, she was a 5⭐ all the way. I have to highly recommend this place, great vibes from beginning to end. 5⭐'s plus they also have an outdoor area to sit and enjoy. Update: 5 Nov,2023. A very nice Sunday brunch. Had myself a Cobb salad. Was excellent. Great service and fantastic food along with a great atmosphere. I still recommend this restaurant. Update: 11 Feb, 2024. Had a very nice lunch today before the crowd got there. Always excellent 👌 service and delicious food.

Best food in Temple… best service… the mother Porker was so taste and delicious!!

6/3/2023 - first visit and was very impressed with the options for food and drinks. I had the 24-hour Brisket Sandwich and Sweet Fries with a BP Cherry Lemonade. My boyfriend had the Frito Pie with a double crown and coke. They also bring you water in a cup you can take home with you! It was about $50 for the both of us to eat and have one drink each. I will definitely be out to try something new from the menu.

We came in for the chicken fried steak but they were out of buttermilk, so they couldn't make it. (Apparently the Pro Tip is to come in earlier in the week rather than on a Sunday. Deliveries are on Mondays.) Even so, the burger was delicious - though it took a long time to come out. Server was super friendly though, so that helped.

Great food and even better service. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and quick with your orders.

Good food and service. Had fish tacos cooked two ways, one fried one baked. Both were very good. Peach cobbler for desert took some extra time to come out, but the bartender was diligent in checking on it without me asking. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Alexis Y was the best bartender and made an absolute amazing bloody Mary! Loved it and the service she gave us.

Saturday night out we enjoyed our food and drinks at Back Porch. Convenient location right next to the cinema. The nachos were Great and the burger was Fantastic! Seated at a large comfortable booth that could accommodate 6. They did not skimp on air conditioning either.
Many people were enjoying the outdoor patio.

The women dress a little trashy later in the evening time on weekends which i find it gross but we noticed during the weekday before around 5ish they dress appropriately other than that the food is delicious the 5pm staff is amazingly sweet will definitely be going back we do not ever order alcohol drinks

Been going here for quite some time the staff always goes above and beyond to make sure my food is 100 to my satisfaction! But I'd like to single out one person in particular, DASH!! she's a manager and is exactly what is needed in more restaurants around the world to bad there's only one of her!! She's the best I highly recommend you checking this place out if you haven't the food is great and so are the staff!!!!!

Our server was outstanding. The entire staff were friendly. Food was great. The TVs were way to loud. I went to have lunch and visit with family, not feel like I am at a nightclub.

Nice place to relax and watch sports, they have plenty of TVs. The food is great!! The fish bowl was a but toooooo much, but great!

Back Porch Drafthouse has been around since 2008 and this is the first time hearing about it! Great pub and bar selection with tons of TVs to catch the games. The brunch on Saturday and Sunday is where it’s at! I got the big a$$ chicken biscuit that was delicious with fries and then off course I needed to get the chips and queso. Great patio seating. Go get some food there now!

I came here for an early dinner and it was amazing! the food is the best! I got a burger and I thought it was pretty big. I also got a fish bowl and it was delicious! I recommend coming here!
It was a tad bit pricy thought but in my thought it was worth it. we got 2 burgers, a fish bowl, 2 beers and fried pickles and it was 60$ plus tip.
Would come here again!

Nice dinner, reminds me of twin peaks menu is similar to an americana type list, burgers, fries, wings, ribs. Staff is friendly enough. Plenty to eat and drink. Full bar and plenty of tvs

Had the Barn yard Burger. I am gluten free & keto so brought my own bun. Can I just say I am still drooling? They were very accommodating as they even took my smart bun and threw it on the grill and served my burger on it. This burger had an egg on top & had ham. Hands down the best burger ever. My husband had a huge burger with bbq sauce & and a heavy weight champion of an onion ring on the top. I was bursting at the seems otherwise I would have ate the whole dang thing. Have you not tried a fried egg on top of your burger? Let me tell you its a thing & a very good thing at that🍔🍔 Service was overall good as well. Will be a repeat offender lol (aka customer)

First timer and the burger was AMAZING! Our waitress was kind and made it feel like we were amongst a friend.

The place looks great, aside a few furniture choices. Food and service will quickly distract you though. The Big Bad Riley burger is choice 👌🏼 (secret sauce) and well worth the wait. The wait staff are plenty friendly and efficient in their service. Not a bad way to spend a nice afternoon lunch with anyone really.

Great place and waitress was very good! They had a gluten free menu with a good amount of choices. Was pleasantly surprised. Gluten free Hamburger bun was tasty. Definitely a place I would go back to.
