Sun Country Cycling (Temple)

The customer service here is awesome. I came in from out of town to visit a friend and do a couple of days of mountain bike riding. Was able to rent a very nice Specialized ebike for little to nothing. Didn't even ask for a deposit. Very trusting and operated out of good faith. It's very rare to come across service like this. I highly recommend Sun Country Cycling to any avid rider. Thank you for the awesome experience.

Sun Country is, in my opinion, everything that you could want in a local bike shop. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, honest and friendly. They always go the extra mile to make sure that you are happy with your purchase and the service is the best that I have seen. They have the best bicycle technicians in the area. I have even taken my bicycles in to have them correct mistakes that other shops have made.

Sun Country is also very active in the local cycling community, leading beginner friendly, no-drop rides on Saturday mornings. The shop manager, and soon to be new owner, keeps the rides relaxed and fun and coaches new cyclists on how to ride and will even teach you how to fix flats!

All of this makes Sun Country Bicycles more like a close family than just a bicycle shop. Geary, Lisa and the crew have given me and my wife the gift of cycling and a healthier lifestyle, for which we are truly grateful.

If you are thinking of getting into cycling, need a bike or service on the bike you have, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Great people! Happened to be up at the shop when I called during closed hours and they invited me to come to have some repairs done anyways. They took great care of me when I bought my 6 year old his first mountain bike and set me up on this gorgeous ride. Best bike shop around!

These dudes tuned up my bike and now I have no excuse to not take advantage of all the amazing riding opportunities around town.

The shop has a great selection of new bikes and the mechanics paid close attention to all of my issues and were able to fix everything to what I needed.

Very helpful, debating between two bikes and with great recommendation I left with new bike. And hit the trail after I left the shop , love my new bike. He is very knowledgeable and he is not there to sell the most expensive bike but what I need and with my budget.

Scott was awesome! He was so knowledgeable about which bike to choose based on age and skill level. He even spent time showing her how to use her new mountain bike. Since, our niece lived in town they were willing to deliver. Plus, they had shoes, helmets and lots of other bike accessories. I highly recommend them!

I was on a 3 day bike trip with my bike club from Austin to Fort Wort when I broke a spoke on a rear wheel with a tubeless tire. I went to the shop in early afternoon and the owner prioritized the repair and got me out of the door in a reasonable period of time. In addition, he was extremely competent and thorough. He checked the tightness of my head tube before I left and tightened it - a safety issue. He and and his wife (and later some friends who stopped by) were very friendly and talkative. He charged me a very fair price for this challenging repair. I am a very happy, grateful, and pleased customer.

Great experience with the team here at Sun Country Cycling. They took their time listening and fitting me with a bicycle that met my needs and did not try to push anything more costly on me.

I also ended up not loving the color of my bike after taking it home. When I was 20 yards from the store, on my way to return for an exchange, my hitch bike rack snapped and the bike flew off the road causing some cosmetic damage. The team here was very generous, understanding, and we were able to come to a very reasonable agreement. They did a great job winning my loyalty and I will recommend to anyone. 10 of 10.

Great store. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very thankful Chad was there to help me out when I was looking at a few different bikes; it's obvious he knows his stuff. Grumpy Gary was also fun to talk too. I hope the name sticks.

Just purchased my first road bike from this location and had a great experience! The gentleman who helped me, I believe is the owner, was very knowledgeable and had a great selection of bikes and equipment/accessories! He was also very friendly and gave me great advice on using and maintaining my bike! I'm very excited to try it out this weekend on a group ride! Thanks for all the support. Would recommend!

My family and I are new to mountain biking and we visited the Temple location. Sun Country has definitely went above and beyond to earned our business. Great experience. Good knowledgeable staff who take the time to make sure things are right. No more online bike parts for us, they have a great inventory and and are a local small business. 10/10 Highly recommend.

One of the best bike shops I've been to for a tire repair bike it is the best place

My bike was very hard to pedal. I took it to Sun Country, they fixed the brakes and got it back to me in a few hours. I am now riding fast again. We've done business with them for nearly 20 years and I would highly recommend them. Excellent repairs and service, fair prices.

These guys are exceptionally knowledgeable folks, that live, eat, and breathe cycling. In addition to road, gravel, and mountain bikes, these folks even service trials bikes (the pedal ones, not the vrooom ones) here! The staff are incredible and will take good care of you and your wheels.
