El Rinconcito Mexican

First of all, please keep this place in business.. it’s amazing.

It’s a tight squeeze but the food is excellent. Don’t expect food to come out minutes after you order it like most places, they make the food fresh so it takes time. If you don’t mind being near a neighbor while eating or having to move a leg so a server can pass by, this is the place for you. They even have items for picky eaters.

Great food. Queso was amazing! It had just the right amount of spice in it. Tacos were really good and the chips are just the way I like them! Will definitely return here

I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. I visited El Rinconcito third time today and the food was absolutely delicious every time. The service and atmosphere was wonderful. I highly recommend this tradicional Mexican restaurant. El Rinconcito got my heart and I will be back!

Legit! Very good food! Spicy sauce wonderful and guacamole amazing! Very good service, locations off the beach path. No tourist! Very good quality at great price! Next time I am Key West, I will be back!

Visiting Key West and hungry after a long drive. We decided to try Mexican cuisine.
We ordered Birra tacos, steak fajitas and jarocho mix.
The food was tasty, a bit spicy and fingerlicking awesome.
Service was quick and courteous.
Family loved it.

As a person born in Mexico and that has been eating actual Mexican food their whole life, this level of Mexican food is the last thing I expected to find here in Key West, so far I have tried their tacos, and also their “rinconcito breakfast” (which was great) and I am definitely coming back to try more of what they offer, only “downside” is the prices are a bit high, but it is Key West so I’m not surprised. Don’t bother with any of the other “Mexican” restaurants in Key West, this is truly the ONLY place that sells the closest thing to actual Mexican food.

But getting service is like pulling teeth.

Instead of tending on customers, the staff is clueless & just stare at their phones or just talk to each other.

Just moved from Atlanta and was sad there’s literally no real Mexican places down here. I am obsessed with tacos / Mexican food. Have had tacos all over the country and many different places in Mexico, this place is spot on. Everything you could want at a real Mexican spot.

Definitely these are the best tacos in the keys no one else’s menu even comes close from my hours of trying to find some on maps! This place is brand new and doesn’t show on Apple Maps only google! Will be going back whenever I go down to key west.

The food was fantastic! The restroom is awkwardly in the back behind the kitchen but very clean. The dining room area is small and cramped, but the people working there truly make it amazing! I wish they had a bigger kitchen and bigger dining room area, but they pack a HUGE plate for you with a reasonable price. I thought the birria tacos were a little pricey, but I looked into the process and tried to make some myself based on their amazing flavor. Turns out, I really don’t think they’re asking enough money for it. 🤣 Any time in the future I want some, I know I can 100% trust them to take care of me! I will never make my own again, but they will definitely have my money any time I want them. 🥰🌮

My fish tacos 🌮 were great and hubby had beef enchiladas that were good. Loved their homemade hot sauces and I loved that they had Mexican oregano, as an option -on table. We want to come again. They were busy but table spacing was fine. Service was good

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. Visiting from Chicago where we have a large Mexican population, not to say I am an authority on it but I've tried a vast amount of Mexican restaurants in my time. The Birria tacos here are absolutely amazing. If you leave a bad review here you probably have no taste whatsoever, I stand by that.

The place is an adorable nice place to have lunch and not be disturbed by other people's nonsense. I ordered 3 tacos Grilled sirloin, pork pineapple, and shredded beef OMG the hot sauce and guacamole are the touch. This will be my place to have lunch during work days and on days off I will be here (weekends).

Food was incredible. You could tell it’s homemade. Very authentic. Great spot for a very casual lunch or dinner. Small inside, only a few tables. Excellent take out.

Small place in-between the AutoZone and Sushi place. Fantastic food, some of the best fajitas I've had and excellent guac. Service was great and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Will certainly come back next time I'm in town.

Love this new place, closest to mexican food you can get in key west. All others have more of a Cuban flare, this place does not. Very authentic. Fresh tortillas and fresh beans made daily! Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Great Mexican restaurant, good food and great service. Got there at a good time, so i barely had to wait for service and food. Not pictured with my review but my favorite would be the tacos in the "rinconcito breakfast" 😋.

Everything about this place is amazing! I tried the orchata it’s to die for!! best in town honestly best I have ever had also the birria tacos were so delicious nice and crunchy you could tell they were right off the grill the sauce was on point I will be back. prices are very fair! Service was so nice and quick!!!
