Hacienda El Rey Sun Valley Corner

Came in with a lunch party of 7, and we were seated quickly and well taken care of. The food came out fast, was correct, and tasted very good. I got the chicken fajitas, which came out sizzling and tasted just right. They even had a robot server named Bella bring out our food. Very future-inclusive and forward-thinking, giving a robot a job that could have been given to a human. Interactions like this only serve to strengthen our relationships with AI and can help mitigate some of the consequences of the robot apocalypse.

Emanuel has been our server on 2 occasions already and he is absolutely phenomenal. He is so attentive and sweet with such a positive attitude. The food of courseeee is by far my favorite out of all the surrounding places. They are not stingy with their DRINKS! They're margaritas are always on point!

Our first visit to the restaurant and we were very impressed. The service was amazing as we were checked in on frequently and even had a brief conversation with the owner who was very welcoming. Pricing was very reasonable and the food was phenomenal! My husband tried the hacienda special and it blew our minds how delicious it was. We can't wait to come back to try more things on the huge menu.

Hacienda El Rey has always been an exceptional experience at the other two locations and they continue to show off! The food is always perfect, the staff is always soooo friendly and helpful, and the environment is clean! They truly know how to take care of their guests while serving up some of best dishes out there! We love the family-owned businesses and their love for their guests and quality show every time.

My husband and I love to go to Hacienda El Rey in Sun Valley. At lunchtime, they're not generally crowded so you can get in right away and enjoy a quiet lunch. The service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again and again, and would feel confident about recommending it to my friends and clients.

I loved this restaurant the food was so good. Ordered the birria tacos and they were delicious and the service was great too. My waiter was Emmanuel and he’s was super friendly and very attentive, he was amazing. Definitely 10/10 would recommend!!

Went to this restaurant last week with my family. It was so great. I love the food. The atmosphere was great and so was the service My waiter was this young man called Emmanuel and he was so great. Going to come back next time with my family again.

The birria tacos are what dreams are made of. My husband tried mine and got a to go order for himself. Staff was friendly, drinks were great, food was excellent.

I had such a great time eating here with my family, I got the birria sopes they were spectacular, the service was amazing as well I love the environment the robot was a fun experience! Our waiter was called Emmanuel he was super friendly I loved his vibe, would definitely come back again!

The menu was extensive and the food was really really good. Everything tasted very fresh. This is definitely one of our new favorite Mexican restaurants in the Charlotte area.

Delicious food, attentive and pleasant (everyone had a smile on their face) service, and upbeat/cool atmosphere! They even had one of those little waiter robots roaming around playing Mexican music. Hilarious. Amazing Mexican joint!

My husband and I always go to the Sun Valley location!! We have been to every Mexican restaurant in the area, they far exceed our expectations every time!! Great service and the food is awesome!! The owners and staff are fantastic people! You will not be disappointed.

After making a reservation at Azteca, with 15 adults and 11 kids under 8, and having to wait 45 min, we made a call to Hacienda El Rey. They welcomed us with open arms. Made space in less than 15 min, FOR ALL OF US. The service was top tear, we left hugging the manager, who by the way is the sweetest and kindest person I have ever met. She took the time to get the kids’ orders, and our orders. Our server was absolutely amazing, she made sure our bills were separated exactly how we wanted. The food… AMAZING. The Birria Ramen was delicious and so tasteful. The margaritas and pina coladas, were sooooo good. They cut our cake, and served us with such patience and grace. I will ABSOLUTELY come back for all of our birthdays, celebrations, date nights, and girls night outs. I am so grateful that Azteca couldn’t serve us, because if they did serve us, 1st it would’ve been poorly, and 2nd we wouldn’t had found this TOTAL GEM.

Went to eat on Tuesday night , it was so busy but our server Karla was the most caring person in the world , she took care of us even though she was super busy , service was excellent & the food was delicious and I met the owner Nelly and she was the nicest person ever ! I would definitely recommend to come visit here at the sun valley location !!!!!!!

Giant size talipia and tasted very good and beans and a grilled chicken Enpanada

Im from out of state and food this place on google thought I would give it a try. The food was amazing came out hot and even a robot was bringing it for my family. The service was also amazing and attentive. I will be back and recommend this place to others. It is expensive.

We loved this restaurant & will be returning customers. The restaurant has excellent authentic Mexican food & the drinks were top notch too. I highly recommend it .

The food was delicious 😋 I order the fish with rice. But it was a little $$ so eating here everyday Is to much, only special occasion.
