Was looking for a place to go for lunch that was more like a diner. This is the spot!! Busy at 1115 am on a Tuesday was a good indicator for sure! Food was GREAT and very affordable pricing. Patty melt was the best I have had in a very long time. BLT was stacked and perfectly toasted. Onion rings and fries so yummy! Service was great too. Free cup of soup of the day everyday is a nice treat as well! We will definitely be back!! Onion ring pic: basket was full and served with ranch...started eating before the photo was taken. : )

Food was delish, portion size was just right, and great breakfast menu option. Server was friendly and everything on menu was affordable.

My favorite restaurant in the world! I live in Mint Hill and drive out here weekly with my boyfriend to get dinner! Friendly staff, always helpful and communicative, and the food is amazing!! Not to mention affordable in this rough economy we’re living in.

Great find for a meat and two. One of the few left in our area and super glad we found it. Service and food were excellent. Will become a regular spot for us!

We had a wonderful breakfast while visiting family. Elliott was our waiter and he was wonderful, funny and on point. The food was delicious, all of us left with full and happy bellies.

Can't get Sun Valley Cafe Liver & Onions out if my mind - Cornbread, pinto beans with onions and collards. Free Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup for stsrters with crackers.

Always get the complimentary soup. Even if you don't want it, they'll provide one for every person at the table. My kids never eat theirs which means I get a free appetizer of 3 or 4 chicken noodle soup cups🤷‍♂

Had the salmon teriyaki Saturday night, wonderful. Nice menu choices. Staff Saturday night was outstanding. Warm greeting when we entered and Makayla was excellent. Great personality and was attentive to our needs!

Family style restaurant with something for everyone. Fresh downhome meals, seafood, homemade ranch dressing. Friendly service. Food always tastes great!

Excellent Breakfast and Dinner. I've had both with wonderful service and well executed timing and flavor of the food. I still have yet to try the meat loaf, but it's on my list if things to try. This is one of the rare places that offer fried livermush. Don't knock it until you fry it.. lots of room and very nicely tucked away in the corner. I look forward to coming back.

Great mom & pop type diner. Always constantly good and fairly priced. Favorites are- omelets, fried pork chops, hamburger steak and county steak.

Dined in for lunch. Had the chicken fries steak with lima beans and corn bread. Also got a side salad. Some of the best lima beans I've ever had. Service was good as they weren't too busy. Everything tasted great and will enjoy coming back here again!

Food was very good. Nice menu selection, good apple pie for dessert. Waitress was excellent!

Prices are decent considering this inflation driven environment.
