Candlewood Suites Temple - Medical Center Area, an IHG Hotel

My stay here was absolutely great !! My hubby was lifeflighted to hosp at s&w in temple
been there for 2 wks & we actually live almost 2 hrs from temple. I had to use wheelchair & gr.kids & kids staying in shifts with me.when they were'nt able to be with me the staff took great care of me. All I had to do is call & they brought me whatever I needed. Staff & hotel made it a pleasureable stay for me.

First night we stayed was soooo comfortable. Just loved the front desk welcoming attitude. She was wonderful.

I stayed here for work for months. Desirae and all of her staff were excellent. This is in a prime and safe location. I will be staying here again when in the area.

When we arrived the computers were down … no big deal ( some of the red lights were out all over town as well)
We were greeted by the lovely Nia Byars she was so kind and pleasant to deal with
The room was wonderful cozy and smell very fresh
Nia was so helpful In helping us find a good place too eat !
My husband graduated from Temple High in 1957
And this is his first visit back ! We really enjoyed our stay and our visit to Temple

The night shift crew was amazing and the morning shift was amazing. I couldn't have ask for any better service than this hands down. My 13 and 11 yr old daughters stated the same thing as well. Rob and Quita I hope I am saying the names correctly. Quita was working this morning on 12/3 and her professionalism and friendliness was truly amazing. Rob was the gentleman that assisted me at check in and was wonderful with assisting my daughters get movies as well. We all was truly satisfied by the staff and Cleanliness of everything. We will definitely be coming back and staying for any future trips.

Had a great stay! Super kind employees. Very clean. Only thing was the TV was kind of old and annoying (did not have a guide you could access to see what channels they had) but it was super minor and honestly loved the stay!

My husband and I stayed one month at Candlewood Suites Temple Texas. Let me start by saying, this is a great place to stay. I read some of the reviews on here and my husband and I never had one bad experience with this hotel or any of the staff. Quite the opposite in fact! Everyone, especially DANIELLE, made us feel at home and always was very helpful above and beyond and we could not have felt more welcome! We highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to stay again. The company I work for booked my stay here for over three weeks. Dearing that time. I found the front desk ladie very friendly and helpful. I'm a heavy equipment field mechanic. the ladies in house keeping worked hard on keeping my room clean.
I highly recommend the stay.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Very convenient. Across the street from Baylor Hospital. They allowed our furry family to stay with us during an emergency week stay at the hospital. Clean, comfortable room with everything we needed to make our extended stay comfortable. Definitely a customer friendly accommodation. Thank you for helping our family during this difficult time. We loved your hospitality.

The location is in a very congested area with a huge hospital across the street which isn't a bad thing but traffic was not easy to get thru

Fantastic! Nice clean rooms with ample space. Rooms have dinette set up with all the amenities and have lockers to check out small kitchen appliances. Staff was polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Outstanding room, clean, convenient, functional kitchen facilities, quiet and easily accessibility. Definitely recommended.

Very clean rooms, the kitchenette is well supplied the bathroom was very clean everything worked ( shower head, tub drain and the shampoo, body soap are not those little bottles instead they're good size bottles in a dispenser set up.

I love my stay at Candlewood, the service there is always impeccable Ms. Aneeia at Location in Temple Tx.i can't say enough about her,she's like no other.all the reason to continue booking at Candlewood Suites in Temple Tx.

Great experience staying here on business. Convenient location in the heart of temple, it's close to just about everything here. The staff is extremely friendly and down-to-earth. Rooms are spacious with nice modern touches. Beds are extremely comfortable and I love the recliner. Kitchen is great with a full sized fridge and cooktop, all stocked with dishes and cookware and a dishwasher to take care of it all. The little store downstairs is great for any of the easy things to forget or want for on a trip. I would absolutely stay again.

Stayed 3 nights while in town for a business trip. Place was super clean. Bed was comfortable and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Air conditioning worked fine. Kitchen had real dishes and silverware and several appliances. Room had a recliner in it as well. This chain addresses issues found in other hotel chains and makes sure everything is fine. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Mike, the Manager, started by giving me a great impression off the bat; he was friendly, went out of his way to give me a great deal since I would be in between homes for an extended length of time. He and the staff made sure my requests were met to be near an entrance for my older dog, and they even took her out during the day knowing that I worked long hours! The staff, well, I can't say enough nice things about them...they were all wonderful, helpful, cheerful, and caring. Tatiana and Cathy were outstanding and spent a lot of time helping and with my sweet little pooch. They were always professional and helpful, as was all the staff. This was the best Candlewood Suites I've stayed at, and I have traveled extensively with the military. My impression of Temple (lack of military appreciation and friendliness) has not been good, but these folks were exceptional. Thank you!! I would highly recommend to all my friends and colleagues. Went during the middle of March so spring break time and it was an awesome stay. The room was clean and everyone was very nice and friendly. We loved the kitchenette style room because the gave us the option to not eat out so much. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here.

Surprisingly homey for the budget. Room was nicely stocked with stove, full sized fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, plates, and cups. Bathroom was very spacious and well lit. Loved the opportunity to check out communal movies from the front desk, but was more impressed with the "Lending Locker". These lockers contained board games, blenders, other kitchen gadgets, and various commodities. I wish we had been able to stay longer to utilize the onsite outdoor propane grills to make dinner (there are 4 grocery stores within a mile from the hotel).

The front desk attendant Amber was VERY helpful in getting us checked in. She advised us of all the amenities that were available to us and made sure that we were welcomed to a home away from home.

Very large rooms almost like apartments big bathrooms ice makers in the large refrigerators dishwasher the laundry rooms are all free no it does not have a pool but the luxury of having an apartment while you are away on business is more than enough. Yes I would recommend this place to anyone that is having to stay for more than 3 to 4 days.
