I had the good fortune to be a patient of Dr. Veena Ghai for a little over 14 years..What a wonderful human bring..mall the patients in her care and her coworkers were so blessed for having been surrounded by any, gently compassionate ways. But , don't let that fool you, inside there was the heart of a mother lion protecting her young!
She was my defender when I was right , and also very tough of necessary.
Most of all, I will always remember her and thank God for sending her to save us .

The people here have been very helpful for the past five years. Having a psychiatrist and a team of people helping has been a blessing.

Highly disappointing visit. They sit you down for 20-30min and ask basic questions about your mental state then go off of that short meeting and give you a broad blanket diagnosis. I mentioned multiple times to the clinician that I have seen counselors in the past and it never helped me. She continuously disregarded that and I felt I never got to truely express what I am going through. She offered to allow me to appeal but at that point I felt so upset and defeated that I denied the offer. I left immensely angry with the paper that she gave me for counseling and found out that it was on a college campus and that they may use recordings of my sessions for training purposes. It was a complete waste of time and I should have known better from past experiences with this type of assistance.

Search this term: Texas mental health care ranking. I dare you! Texas is THE WORST (dead last) state for mental health care and Bell County is ranked lower end of the middle, with a #14 HPSA score. Due to inept funding... CCS is overwhelmed by case load, insufficient staffing and red tape to justify anything more than Chemically lobotomizing the majority of those whom need (and will never recieve) therapy!

If I could give it zero stars I would. They do not provide any help at all and make up these treatment plans that are completely different than what actually happens. I am filing a complaint and taking it higher than the supervisor at the temple location. Someone needs to really look into this place and soon. People are getting no help from this place it's a joke. The providers aka psychiatrist don't even listen to you about your problems and then give you a diagnosis that don't even fit with what you said. They don't give your medication to you when your supposed to get it. I understand this is a free program but the state of mentally ill people in this town will never get better until they fix this facility.

Went up there twice to get my wife's meds
At both times they sat us down for more than an HR ...come to find out that it was a complete waste of our time.
She also has the same problem everytime!
Someone needs to get their facts straight!
She has also been out of her meds for 20 days
