Ichi hibachi pho

Sometimes I’ll come spend $50 at the trampoline park next door so I have an excuse to come eat here. I get the salmon hibachi every time. I love a good hibachi restaurant, and while this is located in the food court of a dead mall, the food tastes better than some 5 star hibachi steakhouses. Definition of a hidden gem. 1 star for ambiance because it’s in the food court of a dead mall, but damn I still love it.

Great food and reasonable prices for what you get. Just remember, good things take time and all food here is made to order; so if you're short on time I'd recommend calling your order in.

This place has delicious food! They make it fresh to order. We usually call it in. Located in the old Stripes store on 31st Street; I think it's been renamed to Snax Max.

Best pho I've had in a long time. I got the beef and brisket pho. The broth was extremely well-seasoned and balanced. It was like a salty-sweet combination but I truly have no words to describe its full deliciousness. Beef and brisket were tender and juicy. Noodles cooked just right and really soaked up the flavor of the broth. It was like an orgamsm in my mouth.

No external seasoning was necessary, not even the lime slice that most places give (or the soy sauce and Sriracha). Definitely ordering from here again.

The people were not rude. I think many confuse rudeness with just being direct and straight to the point. You do need to have a bit of patience though as it takes some time for the food to be prepared

The reviews about the guy being rude is disrespectful. He works so hard to bring excellent japanese food at good prices. We do not have a lot of diversity in this town. It's either him or Nami's and I'd go to him 10 times out of 10.

This man works so very hard. Serves great shrimp noodles. Also enjoy the fried rice

This guy delivers every single time. The only two issues that I have with this establishment are: one the location. being located in a gas station is not ideal by any means. Also the hours of operation for this little business. By all means, I understand why. Considering there's only one person that works the restaurant. However, I wish they would have normal operating hours instead of closing in the middle of the day. Let's get down to what matters. The FOOD it's amazing no doubt about it this dude knows how to cook. Especially those steaks. He always has very high quality beef to serve. After talking to the gentleman that runs the place he mentioned that he worked at a kobe steakhouse before this. So, he knows his steaks and you can tell it. The rice is great and so are the vegetables. Overall this place is an amazing bargain with amazing food.

Pho Tai Nam, extra hot sauce, and fried chicken dumplings.. I cannot get enough. I've been here several times, I'll probably be a regular at this point. He has not been mean or rude any of the times I've went either as many people say he has.

Large portions made fresh when you order. We shared an entree and had enough left over for both of us to eat again! Definitely will return.

Was skeptical about hibachi food being served from a gas station, but it is a very professional commercial kitchen and the food is outstanding. Also it’s about half the cost of similar local hibachi restaurants.. although he doesn’t do the onion choo-choo train thing. Bummer.

Most delicious fried rice ever! The NY steak is to die for!! Try their hibachi scallops and you will keep coming back. I am completely obsessed and can’t get enough.

This place is soo YUMMY! Food is fresh and cooked to order. You can tell the cook takes pride in cooking his food and does not skimp on quality or freshness of the food. This place is a must try.

I dont eat her often but my wife LOVEs their PHO! Definitely worth checking out if you like a good PHO!

This is the best kept secret in Temple Texas. You get generous portions and good food at a reasonable price. Better than some other more expensive hibachi places. 😉
