Black Rose Gaming is a wonderful new addition to Temple! They support many different types of gaming whether it is Magic The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dungeons and Dragons, etc. Everyone is encouraging of you no matter what your skill level is, and they provide opportunities for all games to be played throughout the week. Beginners are always welcome!

I have been here twice now and I love how the owner and everyone is very friendly and welcoming no matter what your skill level is. Definitely recommend coming to check this shop out! If you don’t know much about tcg there are plenty of people to help you out and explain things!

Man this a sick place love this place

Owner of the shop has been outright hostile towards me since I mentioned in the discord that I had attended dnd events at another local game store and was wanting to organize the local community between the stores. DND is already a niche enough hobby without gate keeping. I then suggested how they could improve their discord to help players find games to organize like setting up a channel for LFG and LFP. This was enough for him to ban me from the store entirely stating that “ We have shop campaigns and if we need more then I will coordinate more games to open up and get more DMs.”

He then promptly banned me from the store and blocked me on discord. If this store doesn’t support Game masters finding players. Then players will naturally gravitate towards where GMs are welcome to organize.
Take your business elsewhere. I definitely will.
