Temple Civic Theatre

My husband and I attended a performance of Guys and Dolls and it was sooooooo good! The theater is small and the seating is U-shaped, but everything happens in the middle of the floor, so you can see it all from any seat. The actors and singers played their roles convincingly, with incredible skill. A live band accompanied them, but we couldn't see the musicians. Be sure to use the restroom before you go in because there is no reentry once the show starts. Loved this production!

They put on a great show... excellent singing, acting, action, dancing, etc. You feel like you're right there with them. Great atmosphere. Very well done!

Great performance by huge cast of multi-talented performers. Delightful for fun seekers of all ages.

I absolutely love this theater. I have never been emotionally moved more than the performance of The Mountain Top. I can’t wait to bring my 89 yr old mother to her first play for the production of The Grapes of Wrath coming soon. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the theatre.

I made my first visit inside of the Temple Civic Theater yesterday to see the MLK play and make sure I was a part of history. I was amazed to see how good it looked inside! The seats were immaculate and the closeness to the stage made me feel as though I was in the play! I also was comforted in seeing Temple High's former theater director as well. I can't wait to see what she brings!

Went to see "The Play That Goes Wrong" in June. It was hilarious from beginning to end. The seating was great. The environment was absolutely great. The lighting, sound, and ambiance were fantastic. I couldn't believe this gem was in Temple. The play was absolutely amazing, perfect, really. I'd certainly go back.

Enjoyed, something you should try! Watched Jeckle and Hyde, was great!

The best show I've seen in 20 years. I recommend it for everyone.

The quality of these productions and the talent involved are remarkable. Gary Gosney is typically the draw for us and he did not disappoint yet again in The Best Lil Whorehouse in Texas. But the Mona actress was fantastic in both acting and vocals and really stole the show. The Sheriff also surprised us with his solo. The entire cast delivered performances that were outstanding. Love this venue as well and we are so happy they are able to attract this high caliber of talent.

Great shows everytime we go! Well worth the money and much more fun than a movie theater!

Always love T.C.T. Went to see a Christmas Carol told from Jacob Marley's point of view. Interesting interpretation of one of my holiday favorites. Great evening out. Temple Civic Theater does not disappoint!

The cast were great. The play had a lot of lines and they were spot on. Fun night.

Small town feel. Great play! Think I might go back to Season Ticket holder status! Seats need some comfort updating.
