I had to ignore the very few bad reviews about bad service while the restaurant was busy because we walked into an empty place about 10:30 am. We got excellent service! The food was phenomenal! One of the best home cooked meals I’ve had in a long time. My husband and I are foodies and thrive on finding new spots, and this made our list. We will definitely go back. It was clean, fast, friendly, and the vibe was great too! Excellent choice of music & decor made the ambiance. We’ll definitely be back if in the area.

This place is really good. The food is made to order-home cooked. My server Ariel was great along with the other staff. I haven't tried their cocktails yet but they look good.

Started off with the coffee flight…toasted marshmallow, tiramisu, pumpkin, and butter pecan. Literally chugged them so freaking good! Had the birdie Nashville style…amazing to say the least! Perfectly tender and juicy chicken thigh over a sweet thick Belgian waffle served with fluffy eggs and crisp but soft centered potatoes with Cajun fry seasoning!!

After a long wait at the Belton location we came to Temple a few minutes down the road and they sat our party of 2 within 10 minutes. The food is delicious and a really fun atmosphere! RJ was a great waiter!

Our experience here was fun and delicious. Celebrating 40 years of marriage our server Ariel was very attentive to our needs. The decor brings back many fun memories. A must eatery!!!

This breakfast spot is a hidden gem with a charming rustic, historic atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a cozy meal. The breakfast arrived quickly, and the portions were generous, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The music selection was spot on, featuring classics from ZZ Top, Dire Straits, Pat Benatar, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Queen, Bon Jovi, and more, adding the perfect vibe to our morning. Our waiter Gabriel, was fantastic—friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout our visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great start to their day!

This was our first time going and I would highly recommend. Ariel was our waitress and she hit it out of the park with service and hospitality. Definitely coming back!

My co workers and I stopped in for the first time & today ordered to go. The wait time was short & the staff was great. We felt the positive vibes & loved the atmosphere. I, myself was singing with the music but I could still talk with my coworkers. We all loved our food and highly recommend this place. We can’t wait to go back. The kitchen was also a whole vibe.

Service and food was great! This location is very new and busy so the wait time will be a little long. Packed restaurant!

My husband and I were driving back home and found this place on Google! We decided to give the Temple location a try and it was well worth it!

The wait wasn’t long but that’s because we added ourselves to the wait list. The food wait was very long (45 minutes minimum) but they were very honest about it up front. We sat at the bar next to the kitchen and could hear the chef calling out for orders. Though it was very loud, you could tell he tries to make it a great environment! He ensured that as the food was coming out hot, someone was grabbing it within 1 minute. The servers were very helpful towards each other and it just seems like a really nice environment.

Food: We tried a lot of different things and everything was delicious!

Complementary fried green tomatoes from the chef: 5/5

Maple Bourbon Biscuits: 5/5

Veggie Lovers Skillet: 4.5/5- I loveeee the breakfast potatoes but would have loved more veggies instead.

The Birdie: 4.5/5

Strawberries and Cream Waffles: 100/10. Some of the best waffles I’ve ever had in my life hands down! The crunch, the flavor, sooooo delicious!

There was a 45 minute wait at the other location, so we came here instead. We’ve never been at this one but will come here first next time! It was AMAZING! My only regret is that I didn’t take a picture of the food first before we scarfed it down! Blueberry lemon waffles, hippie piggie omelet, breakfast platter…it was so delicious! Out waitress Ariel was so pleasant and friendly and simply delightful! ♥

The new Water Street in Temple is great! We have been wanting to try it for a while and we’re so glad we did. Ariel was our waitress today and she was very nice and helpful with our questions. We tried the Drunken Skillet (of course), the Hippie Piggie Crepe and the breakfast platters. All was great! We will be coming back!

Love Water Street Waffle Belton so decided to give Water Street Waffle Temple a try. Loved it! The vibe is so inviting and well thought out. Beautiful atmosphere and our waitress Ariel was a pleasure. I had the Shrimp & Grits & the husband had the Biscuits and Gravy. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Great food, a bit of a wait, but it’s all scratch made so that’s understandable. The waffles are amazing, not too sweet, soft and crisp. The breakfast platters are big but not too big, and they offer flights of almost everything to get a little taste of it all.
