They encouraged me to be transferred to a hospital with an MRI! I was reluctant to agree because I was feeling so much better! Good thing they insisted
Because I had had a stroke! Diagnosed with a MRI !

Thank you Advent health for taking such good care of me while I was in town to drop my son off to college. I got sick had to come back three times out of the week I'm glad the third time was the charm of helping me get back on my feet. Again thank you for taking such good care of me great team great doctors great facility ❣😇

I have to boast about the incredible care that I received Saturday from all the staff working that morning. Dr Keffer and Jen were amazing, informative, gentle, compassionate, and made the experience....as tolerable as treating a broken arm can be.
I was dreading going to the ER, especially here, sorry but truthful. The few times we have used this facility things did not always go well, lab, radiology, my husband's surgery. I knew when we got in the car I couldn't make the ride to Shawnee. I was nauseous, feeling faint, and in a lot of pain. We had no choice but stay local.
I am so glad to have met the folks working that day, I'm sorry I don’t recall all their names! The nice woman who checked me in, Jen my nurse, nurse Tina helped , the radiology tech, and Dr. Keffer. Thank you! Thank you! May God bless each of you 😊❤

Brought my husband in with pain in chest and sweating hands. Immediately they checked his heart out throughly. Everyone that helped him from the lady that checked us in, to all the nurses and doctor was very professional and polite.

Dr and nursing staff were great and were able to diagnose what was the cause of my infection. I was treated excellently and all worked great together.

They all were so amazing! The nurse we had was very passionate about her work, very caring and amazing. My son broke his elbow we drove 30 minutes to come in to the er as our hospital had a 2/3hr wait just to be seen. We couldn’t make my son wait that long so we hit the next closest ER and glad we did! Dr. Chill greeted us even before we got into the room. He was very polite and caring as well. His whole team that night had my son relaxed and calmed down. They explained every thing they were doing and what was happening or expected to happen! Very impressed.

Never had a bad experience here! A few ER trips that were always very quick to get the help needed, emergency surgery, as well as a stay at labor and delivery for my child’s birth. All good things to say from our visits.

I came in about 11:30pm with a head trauma. I was seen right away. The nursing staff was very professional and friendly. They were quick to get me the help I needed. The most important thing is a felt they were truly concerned about my head injury. Would definitely recommend if you need treatment and are close. They will take care of you. Don’t plan to go anytime soon. Maybe just to visit 🤪🤪

A few years ago, I had a very bad experience at the hospital in the ER. It may have still been Ransom or just during the transition. I have been concerned ever since.
Then during the Covid panic, the hospital refused to honor a doctor note for my daughter who could not wear a mask. Another reason I was anxious to go to ER again. However, the past month I have had 3 positive experiences with your hospital. I have had several people from the community ask me about my experiences. Apparently, they had some issues during the Covid panic there also.
I was glad to report that this past month was excellent & also glad I chose Advent over Olathe Medical.

My son went in for a broken collar bone at the age of 6 and advent was quick to get him back to get an X-ray. The doctors and nurses were great to him and kept checking on him. We were in and out in an hour and a half.

Travelling on hwy 35 my heart was racing called the ambulance who arrived quickly. One month post heart pacemaker had me more concerned. Ottawa KS ER Great care treatment was given in ER which required the shock treatment to lower my racing heart. Dr an staff saved me from a stroke or worse.

Had a dislocated hip. It was fixed quickly, kindly and professionally. Very impressed.

They were great. Kinsey the er nurse was amazing. She was kind, compassionate, and smart. She went above and beyond our expectations. She is a wonderful asset to your facility.

I just wanted to make sure Kudos was given for the 5 star service I received from the ER. I was back in town for a tragedy in my family. I made it thru my Grandson funeral service however once we arrived at the celebration hall I knew I was in trouble. 2 Nitro pills and a very attentive group of people and I'm able to leave this Post. Sad for my reason for being in Ottawa but proud of my hometown hospital. Thank you for your compassion. My Lab lady was my best friend that day ❤❤ Very much appreciated 👍

The doctor and stuff we very friendly and helpful.

We aren’t local, but the staff we encountered were all incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make the situation as smooth as possible.

I have the most miserable UTI this evening, I was able to get right in and welcomed with empathy and kindness and fabulous care

I walked in and had immediate help. Doctor came right in, 5 minutes later had diagnosis and they gave me my first antibiotic instead of having to wait till the morning when the pharmacy opened. So grateful for that!

Very professional! Helped me go through a multitude pain reliving options for my herniated disc even though I am ER nurse myself. Great group of people that give great care!!!
