Had Windler out to waterproof and install 2 egress windows. Patrik was very knowledgeable and fantastic to work with. His guys were very respectful and made sure all our questions were answered. I would encourage anyone to use them.

Our house had foundation settling issues. In a nutshell, the dirt under the four foot foundation was not nearly as stable as the dirt under the eight foot foundation/basement, and at the other end, poor drainage problems had lead to cracks caused by hydrostatic pressure. I was impressed by the owner's thoroughness in finding and explaining what the problems were and how to correct them. I also appreciated his being forthright about what problems should be addressed sooner, and which might wait to see if fixing the drainage problems stabilized the problem. I have high confidence in the system of piers he recommended and installed.

Chris is not the most polished businessman, but he knows his stuff and he gets the work done.

First review I have ever left. We had a water issue in our basement and Chris gave us an estimate. My father passed and we had to accelerate the timeline as the Celebration of Life was being planned for our farm. Chris moved us up so we could get other contractors in to get or basement back online. The window he had was while I was out of town. When they removed the Sheetrock he discovered the issue was an improperly caulked water coming in through the foundation. He coordinated the change in work with my wife and did the work required. The final invoice came at 1/2 the original estimate. Since the work was only completed today it is too soon to evaluate the success of the work.

Just to close the loop on this. We had a major rain event two days later and the basement stayed dry. The water line entry to the house appears to have been the problem and the basement is now dry.

Recently installed eight piers and a custom support beam for me. The whole job took about three days and they did amazing work. They were able to lift my sinking livingroom back into alignment with the rest of the house and restore functionality to my front door.

Chris got things done, designed a phased approach to save us money, the end result not only looked professional but was completed in a mechanically sound and properly functioning way. WCS performed water intrusion mitigation for a property with ground water issues, cracked foundation, rain water intrusion and grading issues. Work completed including regrading, 100' french drain, excavation of basement footing, replace drain tile around foundation, external foundation wall water barrier membrane, exterior sump, re-leveling of existing retaining wall, sub-contracting deck replacement, gravel back fill, top soil and reseeding yard. Work (other than deck replacement) was completed in only 2 days. Chris even worked with the city to get them to take action on a city water line break that has been ongoing for 3 or more years. Very impressed with their solution to our issues and focus on saving us money while producing a comprehensive solution to our problems. I highly recommend giving Chris a call, they are very busy but worth the wait if you have the time.

I did their online request for a concrete driveway and have not heard back in over 2 weeks. Not too terribly impressed.

Windler came out last spring because we were getting water in the basement. They were going need to dig up a corner of our foundation and seal it They did. Next time we got rain it flooded our basement again. Patrik said they needed to dig it up again and find out what was going on. They did, and did such a rush job that they didn’t bother to put any rock in when they backfilled. This then caused a broken pipe later on. They basically told me they weren’t going to deal with the broken pipe because they weren’t “a backhoe for hire” so we had to pay another company to fix things. Then with the next rain we discovered that he again didn’t fix the water getting into the basement. We continue to get water in our basement every time we get rain. The last time we called he sent someone else from an inspection company and Windler Foundation did nothing. So, we have paid them thousands of dollars and continue to have a wet basement.
