Alahna did an amazing job on my highlights and cut. She is attentive and thorough. She gives me tips and tells me about products that would benefit my thin, fine hair.

Looove this place! Katy has done my hair for ages and always does great and Allie cuts my youngest daughter's hair and is so good with her. I just got a facial from Samantha and it was so relaxing and my face feels smooth and allowed a perfect makeup application.

I have been going to Curl up & Dye since 2021! I grew up in Lawrence and moved to Ottawa in 2016 being new to town I would travel back to lawrence to get my hair and nails done but decided to give a few places in Ottawa a try to support local businesses, I tried another popular salon here and felt out of place and very unwelcome there. Then I found Melanie and followed her to Curl up & Dye. Never once have I felt uncomfortable or unwelcome with any of the Ladies (and Johnny) at Curl up & Dye. I have had almost every service they offer Nails, pedicure, hair, eye lashes, and most recently a tattoo. I’ve seen Melanie, Mallori, and Gina for my hair and nails (Johnny for my tattoo, actually just booked a 2nd one with him today!) but wouldn’t hesitate to have anyone there work on me!
I love the friendly family feel the salon gives me. The personalities there are big, and fun I feel like I can be myself with no judgement, Another reason I keep going back and I know others do too! I have never had a bad experience and even if something turns out not as I expected they listen and make it right (only one time did something not turn out the way we thought it would but it was fixed without issues!)
I have referred many family and friends to them and now are regulars there! I highly recommend them to anyone!

This was my first time in Ottawa! The girls here are fantastic! Due to poor planning on my part, I called them the morning of a friend’s wedding and requested my hair curled and eyebrows waxed. They were able to squeeze me in and help me look gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this salon and would go back in a heartbeat 🥰

We asked Gina to cut my husband's very long covid hair and she did an amazing job. We wanted to donate to Locks of Love and she was incredible; she knew exactly what to do and what their requirements were. Gina also asked us to donate to the Blessing Boxes in town what we were going to pay her for her services. She took her own time during prime family time - 7 pm on a Friday night - and prepped his hair into 4 braids, cut it off, then shaped his hair into a terrific short cut. I was very impressed, not only with her hair cutting skills, but with her compassion. Thank you, Gina!!! (Before and after)

Mallori is the best! I’m so glad I choose to go here for a dramatic change from always having long hair to getting a short shag and adding color for the first time!!! I’m in love with it!

Gina is wonderful! Got the blonde color I wanted with her first bleach session with me. Trimmed my hair and made me feel beautiful. Definitely recommend this business!

Katy was amazing. I have a busy schedule, she was the only stylist in Ottawa that has online booking that is so easy and a big plus! In addition, it is very difficult to find a stylist that knows their stuff when cutting thick curly hair, Katy knows her stuff and nailed it!!

Everyone I have had services with (nails or lashes) has been amazing! Everyone gets along really well and it's always a fun time to come in.
