Ammel Optometry | Ottawa

This was my first time here. Both the assistant and Dr. Ammel were thorough and nice. She did not try to upsell and told me I had years before my cataracts would become a problem. She showed me the photos of my eyes and said my prior surgeries were healed. Would and have recommended.

Amazing staff, super nice and welcoming. Dr. Ammel did a wonderful job explaining everything as she worked to get me the perfect prescription. Highly recommended!

Was looking for a new optometrist because of poor service from my old one. Had not been in several years and was very impressed with the professionalism, the detail and the friendliness of both the doctor and the staff. Most thoroughly accomplished eye exam process ever. I came to Ammel Optometry for a second opinion… I had a LAL+ acrylic lens placed in my right eye, during the adjustment phase, the optometrist said I was 20/20. But I had blurred vision in the operated right eye. Thought I was hallucinating, but in fact my vision was blurred. Dr. Ammel gave me the proper corrective prescription for both eyes. Absolute clarity. Hopefully this will help the LAL+ optometrist adjust the vision in my operated eye properly.

Dr. Ammel is one of the most thoughtful and caring doctors I have ever had. I highly recommend her for your eye needs.
