A great river access park. Long field for soccer, public bathrooms, great calm spot to put in and head to more agressive, or land from upriver, $10 day entry, $30 season. Smooth enough to paddle board here, or wade, put still can move swiftly at time

This is not only the best place to see the flowing river, but it is also a great dog walking course. Also can walking through trail road to can pass the bridge to grab a coffee and walked back.
There is a very wide lawn, so I often play ball with my dog.
Strongly recommend

Beautiful park! Perfect place to have a soccer game! Pay to park with plenty of parking spaces, bathrooms are kept up, river access next to park, fresh air, lots of open space! Just all around a perfect place to spend time with family for any event!

Low cost (if you park in the park) and high enjoyability. The water is always pleasant and it's fun to watch the rafters go past.

A perfect place to rest and play! Plenty of parking, room to launch and load rafts and kayaks, an outlet for air pumps, picnic tables, BBQs, clean bathrooms, green grass, a big rental room for events, and a trail that leads up the river. Very family friendly and the season pass is only $20.

There are some nice shady spots along the south bank. There were lots of rafts and kayaks going down the river.
There are picnic tables by the parking lot too. It's very peaceful here.

We were only there for the water. Large grass field. Has many different table areas, a place to dump hot coal, boat launching, bathrooms.
Water is too fast for me and my family. Life jackets are a must. Many holes on the side banks for privacy. We enjoyed our stay

We love this place and it's only $31 for a season pass or $10 a day.

Beautiful and secluded. This part of the American river is in the picturesque foothills adjacent to Coloma state park. The weather is usually warm and very little wind allows for a perfect place to spend the day with family, friends and even the family pets. The water is chilly but refreshing during the hot days of summer. Free to park if you know where to go. Just look for the cars parked off of lotus road and hwy 49.

Absolutely breathtaking! The river access is great and the Littles can play in the shallow area. The free EV charging stations are a plus!

This place is beautiful and comfortable with the back drop of vegetation to a soundtrack of the river you could almost fall asleep to. It is a pleasure every time I visit.

Significantly improved park safety and car break-ins never happen anymore, Coloma cleaned the place up! Great day park close to the calm waters of the American river.

Such a great find! Easy in and out. Although water shoes would be helpful walking on all the rocks. Great spot. Has bathrooms. Lots of parking. Beautiful.

Beautiful, clean park by the American River. Bring your inflatable kayak and enjoy paddling the slow river that runs through it.
