North Star Tree Farm

We’ve been coming here with our parents since my mom found this farm over twenty years ago. She was looking for a family Christmas farm that was as far from the city as possible. We love the staff who feels like family and even sent us a sweet card at the passing of our family dog. My sister and I can’t wait to come home for Christmas and head up to get the tree and see our friends at North Star - we have even extend the tradition to our partners who love coming here too! All the way from France and the East coast. North Star is a gem - you’ll come for the Christmas tree and leave as family :)

Highly recommend this place! Best AND most affordable tree farm we’ve found in the area - they have cut-your-own trees tagged from $15 all the way through $160+ so you can definitely find one that fits your needs, just be sure to go earlier in the season because they apparently sell out fast! Honestly didn’t see any trees that weren’t up to snuff and we love that they use stump culture to regrow their trees year after year. They also have (again affordable!!!) carriage rides, hot cocoa and a bakery so it’s fun for the whole family! We will definitely be returning every year we’re in the area

It was one of the most amazing Christmas tree farms that I have been to. I highly recommend it.

It was very well organized. A map and welcoming instructions were given at the entrance. Loads of tree areas to choose from. They had organized a horse wagon rides. The office was well staffed and multiple people were available to help everywhere.

They had also a gift shop, bakery and sider sales shop. All accepted credit cards with modern terminals.

Nice sitting area to enjoy the drinks. A small minigolf area even.

Trees were well organized and a lot to choose from. We found really nice one. All trees have price tag one them and easy to choose based on the budget.

Last mile is not signed and had to depend on GPS and it was of the main road, but maps app took us there.

Each time that I visited The North Star tree Farm I was treated very well by the Staff. They were very helpful and they are extremely hard workers. It takes so much work to prepare the Farm for Christmas. The Farm is beautiful year after year. I really like the barn. Someone cut some really nice lumber to construct such a wonderful building.

We've been coming here for roughly 13 years. Its now a tradition with other family members and friends. Incredible selection of Xmas trees and many fun activities while there on site. Also a great bakery!

Very cute and great for families. BUT - they are almost picked clean the day after Thanksgiving. You need to reserve your tree in October. Now we know. Wear hiking boots and dress warm, plus bring something tipsy to mix in their hot cocoa or mulled cider. Would be 5/5 if we knew about the pre-sale.
