Fire station turned coffee shop made it a cute little spot. We enjoyed our coffees. The staff was nice and helpful.

My favorite coffee in town. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel very welcome! Me and my partner have worked it into our morning routine on Saturdays and we look forward to going every week 🥰

Wonderful coffee place in Frankfort. Of the few shops in town, I believe this one stands out as the best. It boasts a distinct ambiance and is conveniently located in the center, making it easily accessible on foot. The staff is outstanding! They offer snacks like donuts and key lime rolls, which are decent. The coffee is tasty, and they're accommodating to dietary needs upon request. I'll certainly return if I'm in Frankfort again.

If you asked if I could describe this coffee shop in one word I’d say that’s impossible. For the very reason of it being a Historical Firehouse with a Modern twist. Being a coffee enthusiast and Firefighter, this place was absolutely perfect and timeless. With the historical pictures and descriptions of where the old firehouse came from made the atmosphere perfect. The Staff were very welcoming and when asked what their favorite drink was, the response was a ice Caramel Latte which was a delicious drink. I would highly recommend this Coffee Shop to anyone, and I would recommend to have this shop as a destination for anyone.

*one suggestion for the shop, is to maybe have a patch wall where Fire Department Patches all over can be placed.*

I stopped by here for some coffee with a friend. This was my first time trying it and it was great! Coffee was very well made, staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and comfortable. Will definitely be back to try more of their delicious drinks!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Their seasonal menu is outstanding and has ruined all other coffee shops for me! The staff is excellent and provide great recommendations and the atmosphere/ vibe in the place is fantastic! I am so glad they established this place in Frankfort it was very much needed and I am excited for the new business to grow!

I have fallen in love with this place. Truly the best coffee in Frankfort with some of the best customer service in the city, as well. Cannot wait to see this place continue to grow. Give their seasonal menu a try, you won’t regret it!

I don't drink coffee but the place sure smells good. I've visited three times with the owners to set up a business relationship for them to use my kuhndog ridge farm honey as a sweetener option. The owners are very friendly and patrons are very excited and content with their brew. It's a neat atmosphere too. Open, airy, historic. Must see and indulge.

New coffee shop in the downtown Frankfort area. Bright and clean. Somewhat small but comfortable.

I was able to travel to Frankfort KY. Loved the capital city, lots to do. And the coffee house was fantastic, delicious coffee specials and bought a bag to bring home to KS!

The syrup is house made and blends magnificently with the coffee beans! The pastries are from a local bakery down the road!

Been going to this place consistently since open and pastries, drinks, and service never disappoint. The workers are always friendly and kind, and provide excellent service. This coffee shop is easily one of the best in town, and each drink is made with love and care for all different tastes. The base coffee is delicious and smooth, and is only enhanced by flavoring, as it should be! I highly recommend trying their seasonal menus as much as possible.

For non-coffee drinkers, the teas are equally delicious, and on hot days the iced green teas are perfectly refreshing. Love love love this place and hope it becomes a staple for Frankfort!

My fiancé and I just went to Engine House Coffee for the first time this afternoon and it did not disappoint! We met the owners Jesse and Haleigh, who were extremely friendly and forthcoming. We spent just over an hour talking with them all things life and coffee while sipping on some delicious handcrafted lattes. It was refreshing to see such warm smiles and a heartfelt openness from these two. We will definitely be coming back in the near future!

Downtown Frankfort adds another gem!

I had high hopes for Engine House and they did not disappoint! Super cool environment with attentive and friendly staff.
Coffee was delicious. I had an iced latte with some seasonal syrup (all syrups are made in house btw).

Had a quick chat with the owner who was helpful and super friendly.

Looking forward to going back and getting a pastry next time!

I've only been here twice so far, but both experiences have been amazing!!!!! Love their options and the muffins, donuts and lemon bars are delicious too!!!!!!

Engine house is the best coffee in Frankfort! My family & I go there very often & have since they opened! The staff is so friendly, super personable, & provide top notch service! The atmosphere/historical side makes it cool for new citizens in town & locals to enjoy & learn about the history! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

My husband and I decided on this coffee house as our meet up with his friend and this was truly such a nice experience, the staff was wonderful and my time here was very enjoyable!

Love this place! They have amazing coffee which is consistently good every time that you order it (compared to Starbucks who is dependent on the who the barista is imo)

The staff is super friendly and helpful too. Prices are also cheaper than Starbucks, with better quality as well. I love that they also support local bakeries too and have delicious pastries from Poppy's.

It just feels better to support local businesses instead of buying coffee from Starbucks!

A cute coffeehouse gem. Learned about E H Taylor and that he lived above the firehouse. Great coffee and is open to the street.
