On The Half Shell

Busy and bustling on a Saturday night. Two tables had been reserved by no-shows, so we sat down at one. Brandon was with us in moments; we got our orders swiftly. The Bacon cheese fries were awesome, the flounder and chicken were melt-in-your-mouth tender, the shrimp huge and delicious. A touch of horseradish in the cocktail sauce was not amiss, either! College football on most of the TVs, loud and cheerful patrons, a terrific vibe and marvelous food, all at amazing, non-tourist prices - what more could you ask of a Saturday night?!

Food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. We were a large party of 8 adults and 3 children and picked a big table with no one else near us. We were not allowed to move a chair or two to the end of the table (fire code), so we were a bit cramped. The waitress handled the large party very well, didn't mess up any orders and got the checks correct. The kitchen did a good job too. The food was great, came out hot and all at the same time! I wish we lived closer or you could open a second place in Conway.

Absolutely love this place. We’re from out of town but this is our second time coming here and we love it. Food is absolutely delicious and our server Matt, was on top of things. Such a great guy. We really enjoy our visits here and can’t wait until our next vacation when we can come back again.

Fantastic small local restaurant bar. Great Happy Hour 4-7. Sat outside at the bar with Tommy the bartender. Had attentive service. Cheese curds, and grouper fingers/fish basket one of the best I've had. Cool outdoor bar to hang out but pick a seat near a fan. Enjoy!

Steamed clams with garlic and butter served with dipping bread were cooked just right. Tender and tasty! The grouper fingers were fresh and excellent. Hubby had a delicious cheese steak and said the fries were the best. Our server and bar staff were very friendly and attentive. We will go again. Great food, great find and nice people. Casual bar.

This is one of our favorite hangouts! The food is great, bartenders rock & the atmosphere is casual! And they have a pet squirrel that will join you for Happy Hour!!😊

Ordered 7 meals to go an hour before kitchen closed. The girl taking our order was so nice and all of the food we got was so good. And the price was awesome. Fed 7 people for around $100. The shrimp tacos were my favorite.

Great place for dinner if you want a casual meal with good bar food. I always get the fried oysters. Drink prices are great. Matt and Bri are awesome servers, took great care of us!

What a blessing! Thank you guys for the best seafood that I have ever been blessed to eat in my life. The Price well unbelievably affordable! Truly a blessing. Way more food than I could eat.;)! If you want to see some cool stuff go to marsh walk and walk. If you want the best seafood and great atmosphere come eat here! Love Yeshua

Went here for happy hour. All the food was excellent, especially the sushi. I was truly not expecting that. Cool bar outside as well. Seems like a fun party place.

Wanted to have our Jeep group meet up and contacted Mickey the proprietor just over one day in advance. He had everything set up for us and the staff was beyond great. Food is excellent, plentiful, fresh and reasonably priced. If you haven’t been here yet, you need to come.

10/10!! We celebrated my birthday yesterday at The Half Shell and it was excellent!! Mickey, Ashley, Matty, Bri, Lauren and their entire staff made sure everything ran smoothly and it was as stress free as could be. Food is always great….staff is superb.

We came out for oysters and ended up trying several items during happy hour. Raw oysters, buffalo shrimp, steamed shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, and the mussels. Everything was great! Tommy took great care of us and gave suggestions to make our meal the way we wanted. This is where the locals hang out.

Matt did a fantastic job as our server and was willing to help accommodate for food allergies. Food was great and a very reasonable price. Mussels, clams, and po boys were great.

Great drinks, fried food, and sushi. The long island is $6.50 and with the best I've had. The calamari is the best I've had. I preferred raw sushi but the Kendra sushi roll isn't and still another favorite. The fried shrimp is great...

Because of the weather needed to find a place for takeout. Read the great reviews for On The Half Shell so gave it a go. Ordered two baskets, fried clams and the shrimp opted for blackened. Both came with slaw and fries and both were great! Definitely a place locals go to and for good reason. Will definitely be back.

The food was amazing. They weren't busy. We sat outside. The shrimp basket, chicken Caesar wrap, and lobster and shrimp quesadilla was delicious. Our server Crissy even served us outside even though their wasn't technically a waitress outside. Great place to eat.

Great restaurant/bar. Food is great. Best littlenecks in the area. Bartenders are very friendly and welcoming. I always refer this place to everyone I encounter. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing experience! From the staff to the sushi, and from appetizers to entrees this is a great place! We're are in the area for the weekend and will plan on stopping here again before heading home.
