Big Menu. Apps, salads, sandwiches & burgers. We started off with some crab dip, very tasty.

Entrees didn’t take much longer. Everything was hot and very tasty. I opted for a club sandwich in a wrap, the leftovers called to me after bed, but didn’t make it thru the night.

This place was incredible! The food was terrific and our water was excellent. We sat on the dock and enjoyed a beautiful scenery while listening to great band playing live music. I had the blue crab nachos (listed as a starter) and my husband had the shrimp pasta. Both were delicious! I took most of the nachos home because I couldn’t finish them. I ate them for lunch the next day and still could not finish them.

Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet, SC, is a must-visit! We had an incredible dining experience with their hush puppies, flavorful shrimp tacos, and a perfectly cooked prime rib sandwich. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the waterfront view adds a special touch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure our meal was enjoyable. If you’re looking for delicious food in a lively setting, Dead Dog Saloon is the place to be. The live music is also great! Highly recommend!

We go to Myrtle Beach every year. We always try somewhere different to eat. Dead Dog Saloon was the place we chose. It was a great choice!! We went right in without having to wait forever in a long line. The service was fast, the staff was very friendly and most of all the food was amazing!! The location was also great. There's a Pier to have a peaceful walk on. There's other restaurants on both sides. Highly Recommend!!!

Some of the best tasting seafood that we have ever had after 50+ years of frequenting seafood restaurants. Super fun and energetic atmosphere with efficient and friendly service. My family and I could have hung around snacking, chatting, soaking up the views, watching sports on the multiple TVs and enjoying the company for hours. We will be back.

Perfect place to eat, because the food is excellent, and the views are outstanding. You can find a place to sit, talk, hang out or listen to music. Prices were not too bad considering the economy these days. Other places are much worse (higher)! They'll most likely have a band playing and you can eat inside, kind of outside but in a tent like area or out in the open outside, which is my favorite, over looking the inlet, just bare in mind the temps that day & direct sunlight vs. shade or hour of the day, that's all. They have some umbrella tables. Very nice place, usually always busy, I give them props for consistency too! Good place, great food. And since I love DOGS, its very cool seeing all the different dogs from people who visited there, all over the walls! I mean thousands!!! Fun to look & view dogs names while waiting, lol.

While we were out for a drive we decided to stop for some lunch. We found the Dead Dog Saloon. All of the photos of pets that are to be remembered. They were all over the walls.

The atmosphere was very good. Loved the open air dinning with the view. Although, it was warm, but what do you expect in the summer. The food was very good. It came.out hot and was good. We all enjoyed the hush puppies, burger, fish sandwich and salad. If we are in the area, we will be back!

This place is Amazing.. went 3 years ago and we always go back every trip. Very friendly and the food is awesome. The whole place has pictures of Dogs that have crossed over the rainbow bridge.. if you would like your fur baby's photo you can take them one and they will hang it up .

Happening place on the Marsh Walk. Was surprised when we were able to walk in and get a table outside along the walk. Live music. Vacation vibes. Service was great. Food was good. Overall would go back and do it again and again.

Atmosphere!!! We frequent DDS while vacationing in Ocean Isle to Myrtle Beach. DDS is located in the MarshWalk of Murrells Inlet. Ask for patio seating. Smaller groups get seated rather quickly. Wait was less than 5 mins. We split our larger group when we went to not wait as long.
Parking seems full always, suggest to drop your party off at restaurant then driver parks, don't expect to get front row, make it easier on yourself and pass the gravel lots right in front, go to 1st side street and use the lot off the main road, the walk isn't bad just less waiting to find a spot. Look at signs about validating parking before paying to park. Most places are free once selected on the parking app.

DDS, go before the usual lunch and dinner rushed to avoid waits, eat outside. We typically go when a band is scheduled, arrive 30 mins prior to and enjoy outdoor seating, atmosphere, live music, and the view.

There are many options to choose from from land and sea. Even the non seafood eater can find something to eat.

Staff is attentive, courteous, and willing to answer those questions for those not familiar with local food selections on the menu.

Average meal with drink per person $25-30.

Oh, they provide hushpuppies and dip while you wait for meal. Yum!!

Walked the boardwalk after meal, took photos, sat, and enjoyed the views.

If you plan it right, eat prior at DDS and book the sunset cruise just off the dock next door and continue your evening aboard 21 and over sunset cruise Pie Eyed Parrot.

While dining, you may encounter some pirates! The pirate cruise ship docks in front of DDS.

Egg-cellent breakfast! Eggs perfectly done, good home fries, good grits… I would go there again for breakfast in a heart beat. It’s less busy in the morning, perfect to enjoy the view of the marsh in a quieter atmosphere.

Cool place. Lots of pics of friends that are gone but not forgotten.
Food was great. Steak was perfect as ordered. Bartender made great drinks and was real friendly.

Party of 6 and we all enjoyed the patio and food. We went to the sky wheel prior to the drive to the lucky dog. A worker at the sky wheel suggested this place. We were very delighted with everything. The bathroom signs were sweet and very funny. Thanks for the memories.

I’ve posted the food because it is amazing every single time! The atmosphere and music are enchanting. The Blue Crab Nachos are to die for! A must go to restaurant in Murrells Inlet.

The band was playing and you could look out over the water. Ordered to super tasty fried green tomatoes Topped with Cajun spiced grilled shrimp, goat cheese & Thai chili
glaze and fish tacos that were delicious! We will be back!

Did happy hour appetizers, great full apps. Love the hush puppies.

I absolutely love what this place stands for. We went on a airboat ride and the tour guide recommended this place and just checking out the area after the tour. At first I thought the name was odd but after walking in the door I saw that it was a memorial for peoples pets. We just lost our dog so this place hit home for us. The food was fantastic here is a photo of our late Hope

This is my second time coming to Dead Dog at Murrells Inlet! The hush puppies are my favorite (we don’t get these in Western New York . 😍 I love the vibe, the views and the food! Can’t wait to visit again!

Been living here 20 years. It's my first time at the dead dog. Had the mahi tacos. Really good flavor! Great atmosphere. Get to watch the boats come and go on the inlet! When in town go here!

Some amazing food! The drinks are always great! Service has never disappointed! The views from the covered deck are beautiful! They have spacious seating all around, so you're not on top of one another. They have thousands of pictures of people's dogs that have passed. It is truly an honoring way to show the love and bond a dog can bring to humans! We ALWAYS make it a point to eat a meal at Dead Dog!
