We only had a 30-minute wait at 5pm. Pretty quick turnaround for dinner service. We had an excellent meal, and the grilled shrimp appetizer was superb. The sauce that comes with it is absolutely incredible. I had the risotto dinner special and it did not disappoint flavor was amazing. My son had the Fresh Catch and it was a very delicate white fish with great flavor

If you are in Myrtle beach and you can make it to the areas, this is a great please to come.
The restaurant was very clean, great few of the marsh, looks like a museum when you look at the estructure, very vintage.
The cocktails were delicious, the calamari was amazing, the hush puppies were delicious. The service was great!
When on a Sunday night for dinner. They have live music. The guy plays the guitar and loops. He did a great performance even with some of the request we asked were a little new to him.He has a very smooth voice.
Will definitely come back!!

Husband & I came for an impromptu date night from Summerville. Atmosphere was perfect. We sat outside looking at the river. Watch two sunset cruises leaving the dock. The service was great! We had the clam chowder and she crab soup as our appetizer. The she crab soup was the favorite! My husband had the catch of the day, triggerfish(fried) with fries and it was cooked perfectly. My husband isn’t a huge seafood fan but he said the triggerfish was a very mild fish. He paired his meal with the Dirty Myrtle beer. It was on the sweeter side and very smooth. I had the Casey’s risotto and it was mouthwatering. I paired my meal with the Key Lime margarita. Tasted just like a key lime pie! Will definitely be coming back.

Ah, Drunken Jacks.

So good we ate here twice on our vacation. The atmosphere here is such a great vibe. We recommend heading down to the lounge while you wait on your table. You can order your appetizer(s)/drink(s) and listen to some live music while looking out over the inlet.

Appetizer recommendation: Crab Fondue

For dinner we had the stuffed flounder and Chef Casey's Risotto. Both VERY tasty.

Can't say enough good things about the all around experience. If you're looking for a place to eat on your vacation in the area this is it.

This place is a must every year when we’re in town. They have the best hush puppies (and whipped butter!), a great atmosphere, and beautiful views of the Inlet. Our whole crew loves the entire Jack’s Specials section of the menu, but you can’t go wrong with anything here. There’s no way to make reservations (we really wish they’d change that!), so keep in mind there are will be a wait at the busy times of the day.

Another memory in Florence's life

Well on our honeymoon in 1980, we decided we wanted to go down to a restaurant at Murrell's inlets that Mom and Dad used to go to. I looked and searched but could not find it to save my neck. So we stumbled across a new restaurant just opening the downstairs had not even been completed yet but they were glad to welcome us as new customers. I think it was the actual first day they were test trying their staff and not particularly grand opening yet. The restaurant is called Drunken Jacks. After speaking actually wiith one of the owners and them realizing we were on a honeymoon they took us to a special place that was completed downstairs that was very elegant and very nice. And they gave us an unbelievable meal with unbelievable service. We had not been pampered so in our lives. At the end of the meal we asked the owner if we could have a menu for our memory, he said sure. So he went to get one, when he came back the entire staff and kitchen chefs has signed the menu making it that much more special. Now the reason this story is so important out of all the places we visited. Is because we returned there on our 25th anniversary. We took the menu and the same management was there and the same kitchen crew was still there and the crew again updated our menu and signed it again and send it back home with us. And on our 40th anniversary we went back a third time taking the same menu and getting the same results again it has been a really rememberable thing in our marriage and our honeymoon that we have been blessed by that kind of service by those people at that restaurant. Drunken Jacks.

Hands down great place to go! We wasn’t very hungry so we split the sampler off the appetizer menu. The hush puppies were the BEST EVER!! Our waitress was very tentative and nice! Atmosphere was great as well! Picture is from outside patio. Forgot to take a pic of the food.

From the moment we stepped in, our server Kayla, greeted us with a genuine smile, making us feel instantly at home. Outstanding service from Kayla and exceptional bartending by Ron. Their dedication to providing a top-notch dining experience is evident, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Overlooking the Murrells Inlet marsh, Drunken Jack is a large multi-levelled eatery with a nautical/pirate theme. Seating outside on the deck, upstairs or down where the bar and entertainment is found. Our waitress exuded southern gentility and provided excellent service. The basket of hush puppies and the she crab soup were wonderful appetizers. Afterwards, we shared a seafood platter of broiled flounder, lightly fried deviled crab and butterfly fried shrimp. My wife enjoyed the trio, but I found the large shrimp to be the winner of three. The other two didn't hold a taste that appealed to me. Both were rather bland.

One of the best meals I've had in ages! Stuffed flounder was delicious. Someone else had the seafood risotto and talked about it for days. The view of the inlet is also a plus. We will be back!

Dined here on vacation on a whim, got the sautéed fantail shrimp, and came back the next night for it again. Two months later drove over 5 hours to come back to get the shrimp again, had the same server as the first trip and she remembered us from two months prior, and we came back to back nights again. Incredible food, incredible service, and amazing views at the Marsh Walk! You will not regret making a lasting tradition to come to Drunken Jack’s!

Great food and service. We had a group of 8 and we decided to head into the bar. You can only order appetizers in the bar area so we had a few drinks and several appetizers. We were served hush puppies with a Honey butter qhixh the table devoured. The She-crab soup is delicious and there doesn't seem to be a bad appetizer on the menu.

We sat down around 9pm and closing time is 10pm. Our server had a long but she pulled through strong. I ordered the Seafood Royale with vegetables... Veges were not soaked, soft/overcooked, and had the right amount of crunch. The trigger fish medley w/ mushrooms & asparagus were made just right (full flavor/could taste it all). Fresh for sure and thank you for setting the standard! Extremely hard to find coasty restaurants that are decent and consistent. Yall nailed it with compliments to the Chef & supporting team!
