This was just what we were looking for for myself, my wife, and four children. The server was great and the perfect balance of attentive but not overboard. The food came out fast and the place seemed full. I got the catch of the day which was grouper, as part of a combination entrée. I had blackened grouper and scallops, with a side salad and pimento cheese grits. The complimentary hush puppies with whipped butter where great too. My wife had the shrimp and grits. I tried it and it was 5 stars too. We enjoyed the low key setting as well. We will be back the next time we visit Myrtle Beach.

Great restaurant atmosphere. The food was delicious. She crab soup was OUTSTANDING. The seafood was fresh. I didn't care for the fried flounder because it was bland. I plan to visit again for the she crab soup, onion rings, and fried oysters. Our waitress, Mary Emily, was very friendly and efficient. She never missed a beat while serving our table.

Visited Murrell's Inlet for the first time. All the restaurants on the water were crazy busy and we kept driving a little ways and came across Lee's and they were advertising Charcoal oysters. And we had to try it. We started with calamari and the charcoal oysters. I also ordered a Miller lite. The appetizers were delicious but Wow! The beer was so cold and came with a chilled glass. We ordered she crab soup, house salad, and broiled seafood platter. Everything was so good. She crab was the best we ever had. The broiled seafood was so good especially the deviled crab, it was so good. The hush puppies served hot and sweet. The onion rings are made fresh in house and they are delicious. Oh the coleslaw it's a classic recipe and it's delicious. DI'm so glad we decided to stop, one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Hoping we can make it back before we head back home.

It's been 10+ years since eating here and just as delicious as we remembered. Some remodeling and updating since last time. 76 years as 1 family in business. Our waitress shared with us that her mother had also had worked here. Service was very good food was delicious. My wife had fried shrimp and I had a fried seafood platter with oysters, shrimp, and scallops. It has been awhile since having oysters this plump and delicious. It was a 30mins drive from where we were staying in Myrtle Beach but well worth.

This has been a family favorite restaurant for years. I haven't been in probably 15 years and everything is still amazing. The grilled seafood is worth the trip alone.
-Sweet tea is out of this world.
-Hush puppies are perfect.
-Grilled shrimp was amazing.
-She-crab soup was delicious.
I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Unless you want to wait (the places fills up immediately) be there when they open. If you are anywhere near there, it's worth a visit. The food is kinda pricey, but in my opinion the cost is justified by the quality.

Lee's Inlet Kitchen is our 'Nice' meal out while on vacation. We try to get there before 5:30, so we can partake in their Early Bird Specials. The food is always hot and tasty. The homemade hushpuppies with butter are superb. We ate so much, we had to get our desserts to go. All in all, it's a 10 out of 10.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat! The food and service was amazing from start to finish! We highly recommend the she crab soup and steak with lobster!

Always a must when I’m around grilled seafood platter. The sauce that you can dip it in is delicious and had to get a piece of the chocolate chip cake. I took pictures of afterwards, but there was nothing left.

I would have to say this is my favorite restaurant in Murrells Inlet. Perfect seafood, every time. Also, truly delicious shrimp Creole. I have been having more of a hard time finding that at the restaurants in the area as of late. The prices are on par with basically anywhere else, but the food is exceptional! Definitely spend the time and make it here if you are in the area. Follow for more....

Southern Flavor & Southern Charm that delivers! My wife and I went here after researching several local spots and we were very happy with our experience. The staff was very friendly, food was excellent - fresh and delicious seafood. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great down-home seafood experience.

This was a Southern Living favorite and we were not disappointed, it was fabulous! We went on a Thursday and didn’t have to wait for seating. Vicky, our server was efficient and very sweet. Our food was served quickly in perfect timing starting with she-crab soup and oyster stew, then grouper (catch of the day) and fried oysters, finishing up with homemade key lime pie. The food was all amazing, fresh and delicious, even the slaw and pimento cheese grits we had for sides. And although they were nowhere on the menu there were outstanding hushpuppies served with starters. Unlike most popular restaurants this place is everything it is hyped up to be!

I should do more of these reviews, but usually forget. We've been coming to Myrtle Beach every year since 2010 and we're always looking for something new and local. Lee's did not disappoint and I'm slightly upset we didn't come here sooner. Great place, great food and our server Zach was perfect. We came on a Friday evening in July at prime time and waited less than 10 min. Thank you for a great dinner.

Kathy our waitress gave phenomenal service. We all had the blackened grouper over pimiento grits with collard greens… Let me tell you… This was the BEST meal I have ever had out to eat. If I could give this place more stars I would. The atmosphere was amazing as well. Was very quiet unlike other places to eat in the inlet. Everything from the tables to the bathrooms were spotless and well maintained. Will be eating here again when we visit SC! Do yourself a favor and come here for a meal.

One of our overall favorite restaurants . Have been going over 30 years. We started when we were just visiting then we had a vacation home and now we are full timers in MB. We’ve taken many visitors and transplants there and they all loved it.The prices are getting up there but the quality of the fish is always good. We’ve even had great prime rib there. If you’re on a budget you can hit the early bird specials.
We highly recommend.

1st time here at Murrells Inlet. Place was not crowded as it was during Christmas week. Very comfy atmosphere. Our waitress Vicki was very pleasant. Food is excellent. Good amount food. The fried food was not oily at all. Salad was fresh and liked that it had banana peppers in it. The hushpupies with the honey butter were delicious. And no, we did not get a discount bc of our last name was Lee. Lol!

One of the best in Murrell’s. Come for the hush puppies but stay for the great service and food.

It’s one of the must visits on our Myrtle Beach vacation, and we haven’t been disappointed yet. 15+ years of visiting.

Good portions for the price, and the food is always fresh and enjoyable. Best hush puppies in my opinion.

Reservations are available only for parties of >=15.

We were originally going to try another place down the road but it was super busy so decided to try Lee’s. So glad we did. I had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing. The fried oysters had a nice crisp. Our waiter Cain was awesome! Super attentive and friendly, he even took some family pictures for us by the sign. We will definitely be back!

Lee's inlet is a family owned seafood restaurant open now for 76 years. First off, you don't stay open 76 years owned by the same family and not have a great product. Nothing more to say other than outstanding all the way around! They are organized, well run with a great menu, offering something for everyone with fantastic food. Portions and prices are great. Service is friendly and prompt. My favorite seafood restaurant in Murrells Inlet by far. Highly recommend you choose them as a go to restaurant while you are on vacation.

This place was recommended by a local, and after visiting I understand why. It is huge! It doesn’t look as big on the outside but once inside it has a ton of seating. A small bar was where we sat to have some very tasty adult beverages. We got to our table about 10 minutes later, I don’t believe they take reservations so be prepared it gets busy. We weren’t sure what to try so we had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The hush puppies that came as well were delicious. We split the Fried Shore Dinner, it was more than enough for two people and we had leftovers to take home. Of course the homemade strawberry cake couldn’t be passed up and we had to give the coconut pie a try as well. Everything was wonderful. Our server was Leslie and she had the sweetest smile. All very friendly people.
