The Shell Factory and Nature Park

This is a family favorite. You can walk all around and see the animals and then play a quick game of miniature golf. Afterwards, head into the shell factory for the largest selection of sea shells . Also check out the sculptures made of shells. Have fun getting your pictures taken in the shark mouth. Learn about Florida's contribution to our veterans history. Refuel with a drink and piece of pizza in the snack shop. Finish off your adventure by purchasing yourself a gift or three.

What a unique place! I have never been anywhere like it. This is certainly a trip to the past as West Florida tourist attractions were back in the day. But, don't expect super fancy. Have the right expectations and it is a great value for the price. Lots of damage from hurricane Ian and they are still recovering. Support this unique attraction and go and enjoy it.

I I highly recommend if you're in the area to stop by and see this place this is one of a kind place from a day gone by I recently got into doing the swap meets and I can tell you I am completely addicted to it these people have treated me as if I'm part of the family I absolutely love the place and will always be coming back

There is zip lining, a carousel, nature park, billards, ice cream shop, photo booth, 2 restaurants, bar, pizza, rock shop, and of course sea shells! We missed the farmers' market and flea market.

The largest giftstore in the United States. Also the largest retail shell store! Amazing selection of seashells and gifts. Something for everyone! Definitely worth visiting we are from NY and love visiting this store when visiting our family. Check out my photos. Also a huge selection of Christmas trees and decorations and ornaments, as well as Halloween decor. We also checked out their nature park which had a whole bunch of animals as well as birds.

Read my previous review about the Shell Factory. The Nature Preserve is a fun and educational attraction, especially for children. We managed to visit on one of the hottest days of the summer. So many of animals were trying to stay cool in shade, so were difficult see. I definitely recommend going there but try to go there as soon as they open.

This is definitely one of the old school stops of the family vacation getaways of the past!! Take the time out to take the kids here there's so much to see and do it has a definite 50s vibe to it back in the Hay Day of old school Florida and road trips with the family. There's mini golf, paddle wheel boats, even carnival rides! From the (massive) gift shop..... largest shell shop in us!! to the ice cream parlor to the fudge shoppe to live music and light fare to eat that's delicious this place is a must-stop, there's simply something for everyone ☺👍

We have the annual pass to here, it’s been our 3rd year and it never gets old. The animal interactions are so much fun. My kids truly enjoy coming here. The recovery from Ian is coming along very well. I know it will take time but the workers and volunteers are doing a great job and I’m proud to always be here. Everyone is very friendly here. I think Dean is doing a great job with his hard work.

It's upgraded so much since my 23 year old was little, I return with 8 year old and it's really great she said she had the best Easter there. EVERYONE on the trail hunt giving the eggs out was soo pleasant and nice to both of us, on the inside also even I loved it. Lol The Shell Factory held a nice trail hunt and gave the kids coupons for items there, it was a great idea my daughter loved the experience and seeing all of the animals.

Celebrating my child’s birthday on a weekday was not in my plan. I wanted to wait for the weekend……but I came across this beautiful place and had to make a stop. My children loved it! From the petting farm to the zipline!!!!!! Make sure you go early as they close at 6pm. There is also a game area where children can exchange tickets for goodies. I really loved this place. Planning on coming back because there is a LOT to see!!!!

We came to The Shell Factory while on vacation from Ontario, Canada, and really enjoyed seeing all the birds, fish, reptiles, camel, goats, etc and feeding some of them the purchased food/carrots. Then we checked out the super large gift shop, acade, and Christmas store. We had a really nice visit and the people were very friendly. Thanks.

The nature center was so much fun, I spent hours there feeding the animals. There are so many animals to feed, I just loved the whole experience. Check out my photos and short videos. The shell factory store was another incredible place. They had a Christmas store that truly had something for everyone. Of course there were shells, but there was so much more. Check out the hundreds of photos I took in the store. I highly recommend this place!!!

This is a throwback of a place and it is absolutely amazing! One of a kind for sure and you'd be hard up to find any place in the country that is like this. The shopping is awesome! The outdoor bar and restaurant had great service and even better food. Go feed the turtles and play some corn hole and have some lunch!

Great place and recommend for families. Our little girls and 12 year old son really enjoyed the many animals we encountered. There were areas where you could touch and feed the animals. There is also a prehistoric area with life like figures that was interesting and informative. A huge store for souvenirs and interesting finds. As well as miniature golf, restaurant, rock wall, merry go round and lots of free parking.

Our families "go-to" destination. It is within a 50 minute drive for us. We loved it so much that we purchased a membership. The nature park is our little retreat. Now, it has not been updated, and we think that is part of the charm. Still a great place to see animals and visit the shop, while finishing up with a little ice cream. Other times we are so close to Ft Meyers, that we use it as an excuse to go on "treasure hunts".

Love the animals and the fact that we got to feed the gators. Some of the biggest coy fish I have ever seen. The inside of the the shell factory was awesome as well. I think the prices are fair and they have a lot of cool shells there. Hopefully the pictures came out nice. Hopefully the videos loaded well as well. Enjoy.

The nature park is incredible. Kids will love this just as ours did. There is a good variety of animals, like farm animals to crocodiles to camels. There is a good amount of interaction available too, like walking in the midst of iguanas, turtles, roosters, peacocks, etc...kids under 3 are free and your ticket pass extends to the next day also.

Interesting collection of joined buildings with many curiosities. We only got into the main building due to rain. But it looks like there is a lot to do here. Kids would love it.
