Hot Pot 608

Hot pot 608 is one of the nicest hotpot restaurants we visited in Madison, WI. Service is nice and friendly. Tabletops support split or multiple broth pots. The bone broth is really nicely done.
They have large refrigerators full of fresh ingredients to choose from - including seafood, meats, vegetables etc.
Pro-tip - the parking lot fills up very quickly. They have another parking lot on the opposite side of the restaurant near the tattoo parlor. Just drive past the restaurant and make an immediate right to pull in.
Other tips - they have a large refrigerator full of beers. All good. Spitted cow the best.
Another pro tip - Tarot root is delicious but let it cool down a bit before trying to eat it. It gets amazingly hot.

I love this new hotpot place. You can do a huge one for the table or individual ones. All the ingredients were fresh and the service/waiter was so sweet. He explained how everything worked and did his best to make sure we were good, even when it starting getting super busy.

They are brand new and currently doing a soft opening where the all you can eat is only 30$ per person! Afterwards I think it will go up to 32/34$ which with all the veggies and meat options its still a rather good deal! I will definitely be back this winter for some more.

This is by far my favorite place for Hot Pot. It's all you can eat and if you go for lunch on a weekday it's only $26 a person.

This place has really gotten their act together since the last time I was here. The spicy hot pot base was awesome, the meat was high quality, and they actually started serving the snacks (pot stickers, edamame, etc). The service was also very good. My wife and I will definitely be back!

608 Hot Pot is our first experience with Hot Pot and any other subsequent place we try has a lot to live up to!

Not only is the food quality amazing, the service is stellar, and the cleanliness amd atmosphere of thr restaurant is so nice.

We have been 2 times in 2 weeks to support this new local gem and will be coming back as much as we can.

I know some reviews say it isn't all you can eat because of some limits on how many plates of meat can be brought out but this is to prevent food waste, showing the business is aware and conscious of the major problem in America with food waste.

I highly recommend coming to this place. It's a fun experience and the food is so good. I can't wait to be back again and I'm writing this review from a booth at the restaurant!

Favorite place to go! Highly recommended!! I love the spicy marrow broth and pork belly 😋 . Don't forget to make your dipping sauce and enjoy!

Went here tonight with a friend, really enjoyed the broth and loved the options. Very clean and staff was wonderful!

SO AMAZING. They have so many options as well as free appetizers. Soup base was great, and the meal was super delicious.

They accommodated a large party without a reservation, then when one of our guests cars got stuck in the entrance to the parking lot (right after a 12+ inch snowfall) one of the employees came out to the parking lot and helped us push the car out.

The hot pot is delicious, the ingredients high quality, and they are not cowardly with their spicy broth like some other hot pot places are.

This place is absolutely wonderful. My group of seven forgot to make a reservation, and they still managed to accommodate us on a busy Saturday evening. When our car got stuck coming in (due to the recent blizzard), the manager even came out and helped push the car out from the place it got stuck in their driveway. Hotpot 608 also heavily encourages no food wastage, which I can greatly appreciate. I have come here probably a dozen times now, and the food quality has never gone down, either. Honestly one of my favorite overall restaurants in Madison!

Employees were nice and food was amazing. You get to grab your own drinks and veggies. They come back for your meat and white rice. Will come back for sure.

I would highly recommend this place because the soup is good. There are variety of meat and vegetables that you can pick on your own. They also have a good customer service.

Love coming here! The staff are attentive and polite. The restaurant is always kept clean. There is a great variety of seafood, vegetables, and other meats. They also have a sauce bar with tasty options. Although the pricing may seem a bit expensive (around $34 per person), it is an all you can eat restaurant that offers a lot, and the price includes soft drinks and appetizers, so the price is very fair.

Great selection and attentive service every time. Additional kudos this visit to the two young waiters who kept the rest of the tables looked after while also dealing with a particularly loud and belligerent customer. Very professional staff.

Great food! We really like the variety and freshness of ingredients on offer. The spicy broth is rich and savory. Friendly and helpful staff, fun atmosphere, almost feels like a city place. Really excellent value too, given the quality. We don't recommend the chicken (it was dry and flavorless) but the fatty beef and pork belly, and veggies, and every single other thing we tried - all delicious!

Tomato soup was really good, the spice from the bone marrow broth was nice.. everything was fresh and delicious.

We went in around 2 pm on a Saturday, were immediately seated and waited on. Both the host and the waitress were exceptional and service was fast. Selection of food was fresh and delicious, and the ability to have a spicy and normal bone broth really helped increase the flavor. Definitely worth the price

The staff were so sweet and accommodating, especially about my shellfish allergy. The food was very very good, and neatly organized so you always knew what you were grabbing.

It was great. I always wanted to try eating hot pot and this was above and beyond good. All you can eat is a bonus.

I had the greatest time here. I came here with a party of three for my birthday. We didn't tell them it was my birthday until towards the end, but they still made it the most amazing experience ever! The all you can eat option is more than what you could ever want. SO MANY options!!! The staff was sooooo friendly and helpful. Smiles all around. The meat is very high quality, and the broths are very yummy! I loved how big of a variety they offered for sides. When we told them it was my birthday they brought out a delicious custard cake and sang to me. And they actually had fun with it, not like Applebee's where the workers seem dead in the soul lol. It was honestly an amazing place to choose to spend my birthday, and I'd recommend anyone else to consider it, too! I'll definitely be coming here regularly.
