Ryan and Bryce are the best, great customer service. If you need it, they have it or will get it for you. They have a large selection of electric supplies on hand. They can deliver and they are open on Saturday.

This is bar none the best CES around. My fault lies more in the company as a whole and less in this particular branch. Not all stores carry the same stuff and some are priced completely different. So, if your a service company and go to another branch make sure to pay attention to the price you actually pay for stuff. This branch seems to have the best stuff and is prices very fairly but use caution when making your order from another branch.

I had an order for wire in, the fella I spoke with on Saturday was great. Called in Monday to adjust the footage and ask a few questions. I’m running a sub panel off a main panel at my farm, I needed about $1500 in supplies. After determining the wire size was too large to fit the 200 amp panels 60 amp breaker, i asked for options around this. He seemed reluctant to help and eager to get off the phone, I requested someone that can answer my questions which he dismissed without indicating whether or not there was in fact someone. Working for the county, these guys were my go to for electrical needs. We spent a lot of money there. I’ll be sure to pass this review along to my guys still working out there. Or maybe you can change my mind by calling me back and providing some service….. 2 stars because the guy was nice this weekend and past experiences with the company.

I didn’t receive an invoice on an account for almost 5 months, it only took me 2 weeks to figure out I wasn’t getting any. So, every time I came in, I would ask if Justin could send me my invoices or see what was going on. I couldn’t even log onto the website which is not very consumer friendly to begin with. Every time I asked, he would write down the total that I owed on a post it notes rather than try to figure out what is going on with my invoices. During the time that I wasn’t receiving invoices I made a few payments and didn’t receive any receipt itemizing what I had paid for. After asking multiple times a week for 5 months I finally got angry enough that I came in and raised my voice and told Justin I’m not leaving till you figure out why I haven’t received an invoice in months. This is when he finally looked to see that my email had been changed in their system. Once I finally got logged in again, I noticed that they had addresses on my account that don’t even exist as well as an account that I didn’t open. I had late charges that didn’t seem fair because it was Justin who refused to do his job. My sales rep had sent me quotes for several invoices and when I started going back through, I realized that I had been charged more for items then I was quoted, if I picked up material from a different location some of the items were more then I paid for the same items just a week earlier at the lee’s summit branch. Some items that I ordered I didn’t receive so I asked them to get me the item and was charged a second time even though I hadn’t received the item to begin with. they “stopped carrying” items that I have been ordering for years making me order and wait often charging me shipping for simple items or go to a different location to pick it up. It took months to get some of these items that were most likely in stock somewhere in the KC area. Less than a month after I finally got the invoices (still no receipts) Justin emailed me to pay my bill asap or it will go into collections, so I asked if he was going to take the late fees off. Justin acted like he didn’t remember me asking about my invoices but still seemed to remember handing me post it notes for my total owed. How am I supposed to bill customers so I can collect the money to pay you if I don’t have invoices telling me what customers owe me? Furthermore, how am I supposed to know when you are overcharging me for things if you refuse to give me those invoices itemizing costs? If I don’t receive a receipt, how am I supposed to know if you charged me for items I didn’t receive? After Justin took over the branch manager position, I tried to get my account moved to a different location and Justin told me that they couldn’t do that. After speaking with multiple contractors that were using the lee’s summit branch before he showed up, I started realizing that he was doing most of the same things to other contractors. Justin completely ruined customer relations with most of the loyal customers. I’m not sure why City Electric supply hired Justin for that job but I wonder how many other contractors he has screwed over and how many loyal customers city have been lost to his negligence.
