Bubba's Love Shak

We were there on St Patty’s day and had a blast. Great music. One band left and another followed right behind. The service was awesome. I was surprised because it was packed. Our waitress did a great job tending to us. I wish we didn’t eat beforehand because we only had a quesadilla which was delicious. But there were a lot of good looking dishes passing by.

The food and service were good! Sit outside and enjoy the view of the inlet. I can be a little snobby when it comes to margaritas ! 🍹 😋 The bartender knew exactly what I wanted and made them (yes, I had 2!) perfectly! BTW: I was not driving!

So good! Best spot for doggos! Food was amazing and drinks and service were on point. Come here if you want a great time to relax with your puppies and have a drink and a bite to eat!

Delicious, perfect fried shrimp, my server, Tyler, was great and anticipated my needs, and the atmosphere is so relaxed and chill. Loved my first time there!

Fun, casual spot, right on the waterfront in Murrells Inlet with a good-sized outdoor patio. The decor is bright and fun, retro, and very "beach". Dog friendly, too!

The food was delicious, and the service was quick and waitstaff friendly.

I got the Black and Blue salad with blackened tuna. The tuna was perfectly done, served seared and medium rare. It was served on Romain lettuce (I would have preferred mixed greens), with tomatoes and yummy crispy onion straws. It also came with blue cheese crumbles, but I skipped those. The onion straws were a little greasy but delicious, just the same (just less healthy!). The balsamic vinegrette was quite good.

My husband had the fried flounder sandwhich with fries, which he said was delicious. The fish was very fresh, fried just right (not greasy) with a light breading. The fries could have been crisper (a bit limp) but still tasted good. The bread was like a po'boy roll.

The view of the waterfront from the patio is lovely, and it was fun to people watch on the boardwalk.

The price was a little high for lunch, but the quality of the food was excellent, which made it a good value.

I highly recommend this fun spot for casual drinks, lunch, or dinner.

Discovered this gem walking around the strip at Murrells Inlet - cute little spot to eat outside and enjoy some good views. You can sit right on the water! Great selection of drinks and delicious food. I got the shrimp & my husband got a burger. Highly recommend the honey croissants for a sweet treat! Looking forward to coming back this summer!

Super great food. Ambience is laid back and somewhat Caribbean in feel. Bartender we had was awesome and very sociable. The salad here is king! House dressing cannot be imitated! This place does not disappoint…

Great food and great atmosphere. J Peters Seafood and Bar is where the food comes from. It is right beside Bubba's and has less of a beach boardwalk and more regular restaurant feel. Bubba's has a large outdoor patio and the inside has a bar and seating that stays open when the weather is nice. Only complaint is that they seem not to have enough wait staff but it wasn't that much of a wait and the server was extremely nice and accommodating!

The food was so good! our waitress was super sweet. very on top of all her tables. the atmosphere was so pretty. we went twice on our trip. it was that good! a definite Must!

We went there to see Johnny White play. He was excellent. The blackened chicken Alfredo was very good too. Molly did an excellent job serving as well.

STOP! Read Before Visiting!

This is no longer a separate restaurant -- its the red-headed step-child of JPeters (next door).

We chose this place thinking it was a less pricey option for our family of 6. We were sitting at a nicely painted picnic table ( suitable for the type of dinner we expected) and given a menu for the Steak House next door (J Peters).

I asked the waitress and she said the Love Shack was owned by J Peters. SO, we decided if we were paying Highly-rated-steakhouse Prices, we might as well sit inside the nice steakhouse!

We were pleasantly surprised to find it was "early bird" hours (see photo of menu!).

My Advice: if you're here for dinner, arrive early and Go next door to J Peters for the early bird menu!

Favorite stop in Murrell's inlet. Service is always excellent. Drinks are good food is great. Love the atmosphere.

Delicious relaxing lunch! I had the fried shrimp and my husband the 10 oz burger. Reasonable prices and attentive wait staff. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Highly recommend this cozy place with a gorgeous view of the marsh/inlet.

A great place to hang out by the inlet! Right across from Goat Island. Food is good (Catfish Johnny's) and the price reasonable for the inlet. The staff is very friendly and so are the people. Dog friendly. Wine and beer selection leaves much to be desired but with everything else, what the hell.

I have an ESA dog and had planned to dine on the patio (called ahead!) But, I use a scooter and there wasn't a wide enough access. I was thoroughly bummed as I was on vacation with just her. The staff however said "Hey!! Come inside, bring her in, sit anywhere you'd like! Does she need water"? I had to hold back some tears of gratitude. Their service and hospitality were wonderful. I think the owner even stopped by and asked if everything was ok. And the food!! Fresh, fresh, fresh fish! Music is a little loud, but great decor and awesome view.

A group of Us Friends and Family drove from New York to Myrtle Beach SC. We visited Bubba's Love Shak for Lunch and stayed for Dinner. Had a BLAST meeting Jack the waiter and John Angel and his Lovely Wife . You are met with Excellent Service from the staff and the Food is Delicious and very well prepared. It's recommended to visit anytime you're visiting the Myrtle Beach ⛱ area. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Enjoyed the early bird special, good value and a excellent meal. Sirloin with sweet potato waffle fries, Caesar Salad with Croissant.

Being a chef for 17 years I can announce that this was the best French Dip I ever had let alone made! Oh, and the She-Crab soup was pretty awesome too!
