Kimmer's Ice Cream

this is by far my favorite ice cream place! they are very accommodating with allergies. i have a tree nut allergy and they make sure to clean the scooper that they use for my ice cream before scooping it. also, each allergen that is in a flavor of ice cream is listed underneath the flavor, so you know what allergens are in it. there are so many delicious, creamy flavors. some of them are common flavors like chocolate or cookies and cream, but they also have different ones like the parent trap, which is oreo with peanut butter. they have some for different seasons that are there for a limited time as well. they have a variety of cones to choose from, which are all delicious. they also sell pints of ice cream, ice cream cakes, and ice cream pies. the atmosphere is great. it is located in downtown wheaton, a fun place to go with family or friends, and the decor inside is very fun and original. the workers have always been nice and helpful to me. i have gone to kimmer’s so so so many times and have never been tired of it. it’s the perfect spot to go after a sporting event, while in downtown wheaton, or anytime you want. another great part about kimmer’s is that you can test any of their flavors before ordering. this has helped me a lot when looking at new flavors. there are so many other great things i could have said about kimmer’s. i highly recommend that you try it out sometime and see for yourself how wonderful it really is.

This ice cream place was super good all the flavors are amazing ! I came here with a group of friends and it did not disappoint!!!

After a disappointing experience in town, I decided to console myself with ice cream before driving an hour home. Happened on this place, and it was fantastic! Small place, feels like an old-timey ice cream parlor. Interesting flavor (Aztec hot chocolate ice cream, with a little zing but not too much). Clearly made with love from quality ingredients. Served with a smile and kindness. If I’m ever in Wheaton I would definitely come back.

This is my favorite ice cream place in Wheaton! My kids love it as well. They hand make the ice cream and have amazing flavors. My favorite is sea salt caramel in a cup and then I order their del waffle cone on the side and break it up to use it as a spoon to eat my ice cream. Definitely need to check out this gem!

Absolutely amazing ice cream. However I'm giving this place 5 stars more so because of their excellent service. The staff is so friendly and energetic. They could honestly sell anything. You'll feel so uplifted just by talking to everyone. The dining hall is also crystal clean and fun. I always enjoy discovering local businesses that offer a little twist on the regular and Kimmers does it in terms of their service and flavor selection.

Kimmers ice cream shop is a must visit. Located in downtown Wheaton. Family friendly and excellent customer service. The quality and test is exceptional. Love this local business. Will repeat. The cookie and cream pie is a 💣 The store is beautiful 🤩 love the theme

One of the best ice creams I've had. The parent trap was everything I expected plus more with the delicious crispy cinnamon waffle cone.

Fantastic local ice cream shop! From the moment we walked in (masks on) to the time we left, their staff was nothing but smiles and cheer. So many awesome flavors to choose from, have to go back for more. Their “sparkle cones” were a huge hit with the kids and make sure you ask for a puppy cone if you have Fido with you! Delicious ice cream, the way it should be, not too sweet and the flavors are up front and present.

One of my favorite ice cream places. Great flavors, great quality and super friendly staff! We were served by a very kind and patient young man. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted! Very polite and professional, and great at talking to the kids. The little ones felt very special being able to place their own orders. Can't wait to come again!

What a neat little shop. The ice cream is unique and beats the every day flavors. We tried green apple peanut butter, parent trap (cookies n cream and peanut butter and fairy princess dream.

This is the best ice cream in the area and there is no competition that is close. The cookies and cream is perfect and butter pecan is nostalgic. I wish they took recommendations like the pints said but there isn’t a way to contact them. We want more salty flavors!!!!!

Fantastic ice cream. They have a great selection of classic and unique flavors. The customer service is excellent. They have a large selection of take home treats from ice cream cakes to ice cream pies. This is the perfect place to stop for a nice treat.

One of my favorite stops for ice cream in DT Wheaton. They also have delicious dairy free sorbets (the raspberry is AMAZING- although I wish they had it more often). The team there is very kind.

Awesome ice cream! It's dense, creamy and smooth. The staff was friendly and we got served quickly. They even let my four year old granddaughter wash her sticky hands before we left!

A great place for homemade ice cream. It has been an ice cream shop for at least 60 years! Several different names and owners through the years. The staff is super friendly.
