Outstanding quality and thoroughness. HME installed new solar, an additional inverter/charger and some other work. They are professional and their attention to detail is excellent. They are the only ones in Key West I trust with my boat.

Harbor Marine Electric does fantastic work. They are professional, responsive and prompt. We had Harbor Marine Electric upgrade our batteries to LiFePO4 units with Balmar alternators & regulators as well as another 3000watt invertor charger. The system works as promised. Steve, Tyrone and Jade were absolutely terrific at providing top level service. I had an autopilot and chart plotter installed. They performed the work perfectly, on time and were fairly priced. I recommend them highly. This is a knowledgeable team that goes the extra mile to get the job done. They are best in class!

We had an issue with a battery cable and called them to get some advice. Steve called back promptly and had me text him pictures of the cable. They were able to squeeze us in after hours to make all the repairs. Steve was awesome to work with and knows what he is doing. We will absolutely use them again. Steve and the full team at Harbor Marine did a amazing job on my Panda Generator. After diagnosis I found the part needed for the repair and a clean professional and prompt scheduled service was completed! Everything they did was spot on and personal service was most certainly appreciated! I highly recommend Harbor Marine for any of your boat electric and generator needs!!

They say lightning never strikes twice, but in the case of my sailboat it did: once with the prior owner and again recently under my ownership. My insurance needed proof that the instruments that were installed following the last claim were, in fact, only 2 years old. Reimbursement is based on depreciation. Karli at Harbor Marine Electronics was quick and helpful when I called. She pulled up the dated, detailed invoice from the installation they had done following the previous owner’s lightning strike, showing that the instruments are, in fact, less than 2 years old.

For what it’s worth, the electronics worked well up until the strike, so, as far as I can tell, the electricians are as good as the office staff.

Steve and his team are by far the best, most professional, most knowledgeable team that has ever worked on my boat. I found them through Victron as they are dealers. They did a full electrical refit with batteries and solar on my 42 foot sailboat. Communication is key when you are far from your boat and they were amazing. I could not recommend them more.

We are new boat owners, about to launch our boat after being on the hard for 4 months. Tyrone came and did an inspection and orientation, making sure everything was in working order and helping me to understand what and where everything is. Fabulous, friendly, professional service.

I called Harbor Marine Electric on a weekend they were closed because we had little to no electric switches & outlets working on our houseboat. We were using box fans with very long industrial cards spanning the length of the house to the few outlets that worked. At night we had little to no light. We were tripping on cords. We were miserable and it was actually dangerous.

I was so impressed when Jade with Harbor Marine Electric answered my call on the very Monday following my pitiful plea for help. She was kind and helpful and actually persuaded me to give their tech Steve an opportunity to help us because she knew we would be pleased.

Pleased is an understatement! Steve was so knowledgeable and got to work right away. In short order I was doing happy dances!!! I can honestly say Steve arrived "and then there was light"!!! He too was very kind and determined to get everything working as it should. He had to identify every circuit and then had to isolate every switch and outlet and put them on the correct circuit breaker for the entire house. Not an easy task!!! It was obvious he loves his job, both the work, AND helping people.

When Steve left we put the box fans and cords away and enjoyed our ceiling fans and all the lights and outlets throughout the house. We are still smiling!

I can't think of a single time we invited a company into our home and realized a better outcome! If you have an electric issue call Harbor Marine Electric, you will be glad you did!!!

I am VERY happy I was able to call on Harbor Marine after a catastrophic lightening strike. These guys are among the best marine industry professionals I have ever called upon for help. Durning the several weeks of our repairs I noted that they were always on time, well prepared, professional, competent, confident, effective and willing to go the extra mile to get it all done. If there was a 6-star rating, Steve and his crew would get it from me.

Steve came to our sailiing catamaran (Lagoon 440) in Key West and helped me troubleshoot my entire Mastervolt charging system. I needed to make a few changes, add fuses and install a new large battery charger. He was very knowledgeable about the wiring system on our boat and offered good suggestions. He answered his phone everytime I called and showed up later that day. He Came out to the boat three times. I highly recommend Steve, super nice guy to work with.
