McKay's Market #29

This morning there was a middle aged white lady helping around the checkout isle that was so friendly and explaining some deals to an elderly woman. I had to get some ice and ended up coming back in the afternoon and there was a white male helping someone check out. He was super friendly and having a REAL conversation with a customer while he helped them. I am not from this area and passing through but quite impressed with these two employees today.

Great deals, lots of great meat, produce, grocery offerings. Great prices and sales on meat. The fried chicken is juicy and one of my favorites. Rewards points, friendly helpful staff, clean, organized. You won't be disappointed here and my new favorite grocer.

The deli is my go to. Mini cheese plates and charcuterie are my jam. Always smiles plenty of snacks and community ✨✨✨ munchies galore.

Love Mckay's, more family oriented atmosphere. All staff are great, the newer guy, "Laithan" who was stocking the meat section was very helpful and professional. Good job all around!

The deli sandwiches are made with love and super good!!! We'll be back for more :) Public restroom is clean, and the employees are really nice.

This is a nice grocery store. It is very clean and easy to shop. It was not very crowded when I visited, which made my trip fast and convenient.

Love this store, both the veggie and meat departments are clearly the best in the area. Vegetables are presented nicely, clean and great quality. Meats are best quality, even at a slightly higher price, with the exception of their meat bonanza, awesome prices, prepare to fill the freezers. And in the deli, the fried chicken is fantastic. Very good wine selection. Happy to have them in our little town!!!

Their T-Bone filet cuts are much better than the filet cuts at the Bandon McKay's . Over twice the size.

Had exactly what I need (beef liver) frozen in slices. Reasonably priced. Picked up a few other items, too. Staff was friendly and helpful, and there was plenty of easy parking. Good wife selection of groceries for a small town. Handy, too, to have a Dollar Tree within walking distance for some small items at $1.25 a piece.

We waited a long time for McKay's to open,
it was well worth the wait! I shop in pretty much every dept. the meats are fresh as are the veggies. The deli counter has some fabulous treasures! Don't miss the hot fresh
biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, bacon.

Great salmon, wine and produce!! Prices do increase on weekends on some items but then drop on weekdays. Very friendly place to shop!

Great deals on the meat extravaganza, many items in stock that I can’t find at the other store. Small and convenient for quick shopping trips.

This store is brand new and much needed in Harbor/ Brookings! Very clean! Prices are about average.. I have had great customer service on each visit. They have a deli serving hot and cold food.
The store is located in a small shopping mall that features Dutch Bros. coffee, US Cellular, the dollar store, a tobacco store, bar , and a salon , amongst others.
Homeless seem to congregate here, you may see some tents. But , this is becoming the new norm in every city /town in America. No one has ever approached me for money, food, etc. here. I have been to this strip mall a couple dozen times….
McKays Market was much needed on that side of town. They are the only market until you cross the Chetco River into Brookings
Hopefully they will continue to have great customer service…and great food selections.

Employees are always friendly and happy to help knowledgeable about where things are and happy to order anything they don't have shelving and freezers are kept clean and organized and accessible Isles are wide enough electric wheelchairs can pass each other Side by side without having to navigate backing out, all of their staff and employees no matter what position are clean friendly and don't send you in circles looking for something they treat you like you are a member of their own family I can't stress enough how important it is to shop at places like this to let them know that they're appreciated the Walmarts need to go

Mckays is a great addition to our small town. Meat is fresh and decently priced. The location of this store gives seniors, who may not want to cross town to Fred Meyer, more options. While there are other stores nearby, this will provide a better shopping experience for groceries such as meats, dairy and other food options. Previous businesses in this location tend to come and go pretty quick, so hopefully they stick around. Will be looking forward to visiting the store and seeing what products are offered.

The deli has a lot of fried food and many things you wouldn't typically find at most markets. Excellent variety
