I brought both of my guitars (electric and acoustic) to Uncle Jon’s for repair and new parts. Do yourself a favor and skip the stores in the city- I’ve been to em all…Uncle Jon’s is a diamond in the rough. The work on both my guitars was professional and well done. Both guitars were ready in a quick turnaround time. the folks at Uncle Jon’s are the nicest most down to earth people you’ll meet. Uncle Jon’s is an essential for our local community. It’s run by a family here in Westmont and the whole shop is super welcoming. Not only that, but they are masters of their craft! I’ve had bass guitar lessons at the shop before and I just recently had a violin string replaced with great success. Thanks again Uncle Jon!! :D

I went to Uncle Jon’s Music for an overhaul on my Alto Saxophone and they repaired it with quality, efficiency and were very affordable. All staff members were courteous and knowledgeable. I’m not a musician but do recognize exceptional care. I have a guitar that I bought 50 years ago. It was recommended that I take it to Uncle Jon’s to have it checked out. They put new strings on a cleaned it up so it looks brand new. I’m giving it to a childhood friend who is a professional musician and I think he will be blown away by how incredible it looks. Jon surpassed my expectations with the quality of detail he put into the restoration. Great job !!! Thanks 😊

I brought my son in to buy a guitar & Jon was extremely helpful. My son knew a little bit about what he was looking for, and Jon was able to help him with any questions he had about the rest of it. It was a really relaxed atmosphere & Jon didn't mind letting him search through & play with all the guitars to see what he wanted. He was super helpful without being the least bit pushy or seeming like a salesman! My son was able to find exactly what he wanted & I know we'll be back again.

I have been to this great little store a handful of times. Customer service has ALWAYS been outstanding. I've bought a nice little uke which was very reasonably priced for the good quality. I am teaching myself guitar and went to Uncle Jon's looking for an entry level instrument. As always, customer service was fantastic. He spent time answering all my questions, giving advice, helping me choose a guitar, and offered to tune it before I left. They don't try to oversell you here. I feel my guitar was very reasonably priced for the quality. They seem genuinely interested assisting you on your musical journey. If I find self- teaching the guitar to be too frustrating, this is the first place I am going to for lessons. This is a great place!

I researched ukuleles online before going. This store carried several of the top ukuleles mentioned at the same price as Amazon and other big-name sellers. But, by shopping in-store I was able to see how they felt in my hands and hear how they sounded. I ended up buying a less expensive ukulele than I thought because the one that sounded best to me was less than the one I read up on online. I used that extra money for accessories that were sold and installed in-shop by the owner that day. The owner was also knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. I left with my ukulele that day! Great shop.

Uncle Jon's did a great job on a repair of my Larivee guitar. I just picked it up and I couldn't be more thrilled. They did extremely careful and detailed work to repair a bridge separating from the top of the guitar, and all at a very reasonable price! This is a great store, and I'm so glad they're in my neighborhood!

Brought in my guitar during their food drive event. John was such an awesome guy to work with. He really treats his customers great. Took great care of my guitar. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back and I recommend checking them out.

Great family owned business that treats you like family too. We've bought ukuleles, band instruments, music books, and fun accessories over the years. Our kids are excited to go to their weekly piano lessons here, and are learning so much! The staff is friendly, helpful, and very knowledgable. It's clear that they all want the customers to love music as much as they all do. A great local shop!

I have purchased a beautiful Strat from Uncle Jon's. First of all, Jon (the son) was very hospitable, professional, and a cool dude. He made me feel home. We discussed guitars and my preferences, So he recommended the Old Vibe Strat, he provided an amp, a cable, and a stool and excused him self cause he s teaching music downstairs. I felt home surounded with beautiful guitars, instruments and memorabilias. I enjoyed me playing the guitar he recommended, so i bought it. Price was reasonable, he knocked off couple bucks from the price of the cable and case.... Great experience, Great people! Family owned and community loved. I will definitely go back to Jon's....
