Aside from the fact that they have pretty much everything you need if you're making a small run to the hardware store and they've got some really premium lumber, but beside that they have one of the best cashiers I have ever encountered. He has joke after joke and is always smiles. He will literally brighten your day. He is one of the biggest reasons why I choose to come in to this ace versus going to any other hardware store. He really deserves a raise or some type of promotion or bonus.

Very friendly and knowledgeable, if they don't have something in stock they'll get it for you! This is like the old-fashioned hometown hardware store I grew up with.

I go to Home Depot, and I have to wait while someone radios that a customer needs help in such and such an aisle. Here I was greeted and walked to the item I was looking for. The associates were friendly and helpful, and the items were in stock. It was a great shopping experience

The staff always seems to be helpful...and grateful. These days, having one of those is rare...but both of them is very refreshing indeed

This is a great little hardware store at a very convenient location. While it's certainly no big box giant, it still has a surprisingly broad selection of items, and quite often saves us from having to drive to one of the larger hardware stores. The staff here are also friendly and helpful.

With everyone being at home during the pandemic, there have been quite a few tasks being done around the house. This Ace has been nothing but super helpful. The staff is great, knowledgeable, and they clearly keep the store clean. Highly recommend for their professionalism and knowledge.

Nice hardware store with even nicer employees. Recently had to warranty a ratchet from craftsman so I came here since I live in town. Stan the owner helped me and was very professional and polite and felt like genuinely enjoyed his business and wanted to help. Anything I need for home or repair I will check with then first to support his business.

Absolutely the best hardware store ever. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable; they will actually help you find things (unlike some big box stores that only work in certain departments so can't help you... ) Ask for Stan when you go, he's awesome. Always smiling, always helpful, and he listens and tries to find you the right tool for what you need.

Amazing customer service. Every time I'm there the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fast! The service they offer is why I keep coming back rather than going to the big box stores. Would give 6 stars if I could.

This is a great neighborhood hardware store. The people working there are always genuinely happy to help and offer advice. If you go in with a problem, they're going to help you figure it out and most likely succeed. Prices are comparable to Home Depot and I'd much rather support these guys.

Just a nice local Lumber and Hardware store. I say Lumber and Hardware because they have quite a large Lumber selection so if you're looking for a place to get supplies for your building project they can probably help you out there too. They'll do everything from set you up with what you need to build a shed or garage or just cut a couple two-by-fours down to size for you. They really are the full service local family hardware store. They even do screens for you if you've ripped your old ones. Family service and some of the staff has been there for as long as I've been going there and it's been over 20 years. Good stuff at maybe not as low of a price as the big box stores but with that personal service. you can run in a hurry because its close by instead of making you travel all the way over to those big stores. Consider them next time you need some things to finish your project. I think you'll find them really helpful and they have a pretty good selection of stuff there. Again they may not have everything the big box stores have but they probably have what you need to get what you're doing done. By the way they also carry a lot of stuff for older houses so sometimes they have things the big box stores don't even carry. Great little place, been there forever. Highly recommended :-)

Convenience. Not best prices, but for quick easy to get good enough. Best place to get copies of keys. Perfect everytime. I don't trust anywhere else for keys being cut. I will keep going to this location and the employees are nice.

Staff, including the owners who work there full time, are 100% friendly and helpful at all times I've been in the store. For example, tonight I went in to get a bag of salt. The clerk at the front of the store showed me where the salt was located and explained the differences between the different brands. I selected one brand and immediately a staff member pick up to 40 pound bags of salt and threw them over his shoulder and carried them out to my van. Meanwhile the clerk directed me to the other items I needed. After I collected the other items, I went to the checkout counter and the clerk rang up all my items including the two bags of salt. Another staff member carried my remaining items to my car for me.
This is typical of the kind of service I have come to expect from Bales Ace Hardware.
