Redmond’s Corner is a one stop shop, it has all the best hockey and figure skating gear you will need. The prices are outstanding along with the service. Matt and the guys will treat you like family and send you away like a pro.

Wonderful service. Just got my new skates and helmet here and had zero issues. The last time I bought skates was before Matt took over and they put me in a skate 1.5 sizes too big!

Since Matt took over this location in 2021 the turnaround has been astonishing. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They are stocking the store with the right equipment and have competitive pricing. They have expanded their services to include skate repair (punch, boot stretch, profiling). Redmond's Corner has been a valuable and much needed addition to the hockey community in Charlotte, we finally have a pro-shop we can trust. I highly recommend visiting their store inside Extreme Ice Center.

Cody was awesome!! He was super patient with my many many questions. He was very knowledgeable about the skates and the maintenance. I’m a beginner just starting out and he was a very welcoming presence!! I would definitely recommend this pro shop.

Best Hockey Pro Shop around! My son has been playing hockey at XIC for 11 years. Since Matt took over the pro shop a few years ago the improvements are too many to name. The staff is knowledgeable and product offering & prices are competitive. It is a great local business with a great owner. Matt goes above and beyond for these young athletes.

Redmond’s corner has officially locked in my business for life.
The owner is passionate about what he does and takes pride in doing it right. We dropped in to have skates baked and sharpened. He took his time with all of our questions and made solid observations about our skates, without pushing any sales- just providing facts. Turns out my skates were an entire size too big and I was able to find a used pair from a friend that fit much better.
Looking forward to bringing the rest of my family for any gear we may need!

The staff at Redmond's is always so knowledgeable on hockey gear. Whether its buying new or repairing things like helmet screws, they won't try to up-sell you. The staff is also super friendly!

Began skating end of last year but had yet to really explore the MASSIVE world of various types of skates to finally purchase my own; until I found Redmond’s corner.

For starters, the sheer quantity of inventory of skates, active wear, gear, and services there is offered is impressive. Nowhere else in the CLT/ surrounding areas will you find such a one stop shop for all things skating, that skaters (at any level) desire. 🙌

Beyond the accommodating (and versatile) inventory offered, the level of sincerity demonstrated by all the people involved in the shop was… an absolute breath of fresh air. The Customer Service Industry has had it rough during all the challenges of the last two years (well- its always tough engaging with the public HA); so to be greeted with knowledgable and friendly staff was wonderful. They take the time to show each person there the same level of genuine attention in order to pair them with exactly what they need!!

Great place. Skate sharpening service is great quality now. May not have the biggest inventory, but will get you what you need. Shop local to keep the little guys going and keep the best hockey shop option in Charlotte open.
