Dropped Jeter off to be groomed and visited this place next door: Golden Key European Food Store here in Indian Trail - picked up some pirogies to try ahead of Christmas!! Clean, well organized, nice variety of unique items and the woman very helpful with recommendations (I can’t read Ukrainian 😂) - Worth a visit! We have been back many times and they are gracious and helpful and we love the pirogies!

Golden Key Deli has every imported good you need. High Quality, a well maintained store, and friendly owners. When we entered, we met an American Man who fell in love with Latvian Ice Cream and walked out with his arms filled with Plumbir. We had such a great time talking with him and he was so grateful for the great service there. We're from the Chicagoland area and missed our community European Store. When my husband and I walked out, he said "It finally feels like home". We will be returning! Thank you, Golden Key!

The good place to find Russian food, especially if you are starving of red caviar and other treats. Liked this place, the woman cashier was so nice and friendly. But my advice: look closely to the expiration date of products. The store has a good assortment of Soviet food but the Soviet style of business too. We totally forgot that expired items can be sold like it was in Soviet Union. So, just check everything before you place it in your cart;)

I was craving pierogies (real Russian pierogies like grandma used to make). I didn't want to spend 7 hours making them. Golden Key has fresh pierogies. And they did not disappoint!

We love Golden Key Market. Wonderful variety of deli meats cheeses, bread, fresh cakes, candies, chocolate. Nice varieties of grocery and freezer foods Ukrainian and Russian varieties we love. Delicious. .. Excellent service. Our son is from Ukraine so we go to the market to buy all of his favorite treats.

I wanted to put a comment to the review from Legend below. The statement they are making is false, the lady started yelling at the owner, saying that the daughter wasn't wearing gloves and she was afraid of covid, the daughter did not touch opened meat, it was a prepackaged meat in plastic. All fresh meat is handled with gloves. The lady below, who was afraid of covid, was walking around without her nose uncovered, so thats a false statement about being covid worried. The health department throughly checks the store.

As with any speciality European foods be aware of expired cookies, chocolates, cakes, meats etc. Just pay attention. Once I bought cookies from them and came home to discover worms inside. Overall the place is authentic and has lots of good stuff that is reasonably priced. I shop there on regular basis.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of eastern European foods including Russia, Romania, and Moldova. The Romanian Black Currant (coacaze negre) is absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back for more. :)

Usual assortment of Eastern European produce, including various sausages: salami (some are of very high quality), bologna, cheeses; buckweat for kasha. Russian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, German and Ukrainian candies, (boxed sets available); herbs and medicines one would never find in American farmacy, but familiar to most of the Europeans... Service is usually quite friendly and efficient.

Always finding something new & yummy to try here. Love the deli meats & cheeses, tea selections, that you just cannot get at regular grocery stores

A HUGE selection of different eastern European products and deli items. One of the best European markets I've been to in terms of variety.
