Seaside Market

Went into today with my so called "daughter" the owners sisters will know 🤣🤣🤣.
This market is a gem. Do yourself a favor and spend time in there. Start at one end and go through all the nooks and crannies.
You will be very hapyy.

Great local shopping spot. Friendly local owners with a lot of nice local products. I Guess I'm saying , "Shop local." Why not?

Seaside Market located in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina is a very interesting store. It’s very clean and the employees are friendly. It’s a good place to visit. We recommend stopping by and browsing.

Went first time during their opening weekend. Everyone was friendly, greeted you and asked if you needed help. Local produce area was stocked, you could tell they were just getting stock in to fill the store.
Update: went again yesterday as I wanted to purchase a new baseball cap and wanted to support a local business.
Cashier behind the counter was too busy on her phone to say hello. Walked the store one and half times without so much as a smile. I was one of three customers. Only upon leaving did she look up from her phone and say “Have a nice day.” With as many local shops in our area, customer service needs to be top notch, I know there can be slow days and people have bad days, but I also know (30years in retail management) that acknowledging your customers keeps them coming back. I hope that this helps them.
On a more positive note, the store is very nice. Nice selection of wares. Food service is available.

Tourist trap

Went during posted open hours, but they were closed and no sign to indicate why. Wouldn’t bother trying again…obviously they’re not especially interested in customers.
