I've been getting food here for a while, the quantity/quality to price ratio is hard to beat by anyone else. All their meat is cooked over open fire, it gives a really good taste, chicken steak or the sausage they're all great. The to go box of chicken was only 10 bux,

This is my go to for authentic Mexican street food. The Carnitas are my favorite. So darn good. Very pleasant and friendly, always a welcoming experience.

This is seriously some of the best meat I've had! I used to shop at Safeway for my ground beef but it always smelled funny and made me nauseous. So I decided to try this meat market for new meat and I will never go back to your average grocery store for meat products! It's all competitively priced as well, for the ground beef, i believe it's $5.99 a pound (at the time of this review, 2022), the same as Safeway.

Love this place, they're meats are fresh and have some really authentic fresh cheese. I also love the deli, they are always cooking something delicious 😋. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive and I also like the fact they have a small selection of groceries.

Awesome Mexican butcher shop that also sells lots of hot prepared meats and also ceviche. Very tasty, super friendly and helpful staff, and great prices. I do takeout for dinner here at least once a week and stock up for a few days of meals at home. I especially like the Chicharron. I wish they also offered lengua.

I order tacos from here at least 3 times a week. Great atmosphere, they usually have some really nice music playing in the store. I pretty much gave up on Mexican food in Phoenix until I found this spot. Maybe my standards are too high coming from San Diego everytime someone recommends a spot its trash. This place is good.
Sometimes I'll just order a few pounds of the carne asada already cooked to take home, sometimes I order meat uncooked so I can grill at home. But most of the time I just order tacos with everything on it. Guac, cheese, sourcream, pico, salsa. It's really good. Staff is excellent, food is excellent, and prices are excellent. Highly recommend.

When my favorite taco shop closed i was bummed and looking for a new place to go. After a long list of not-so-great places i found Ponderosa Carniceria! It has ready to go food as well as all the ingredients to make your own meals. People were great. Highly recommend.

My absolute favorite carnicería in North Phoenix! Amazing food and products. They have the essentials for authentic Mexican cuisine. We get all out dried peppers here because other groceries stores simply don't carry them. I love supporting them week after week.

Just had a carne 🥩 asada burrito and it was amazing 🤩 real big and tasty 😋 good temperature for my mouth watering

This place is AMAZING!!!! Its so clean and they have a variety of food to choose from, even deliciously fresh cooked food!!! I had the chicken quesodilla and my husband had the patron taco and we fell in love! The fresh salsa is so tasty and has the right amount of meat. The customer service was top notch and very helpful! We will be coming back as often as possible :)

They have everything you need . To bbq yourself or to take a meal home very clean. Well kept. Very nice employees

Great authentic Mexican food, groceries and products. Friendly fast service. Has prepared food and fresh butcher counter as well. Get the homemade tortillas and pollo asada!

More than a convience store! Walking in you feel just like you're back in Mexico. I got some "real" chorizo, and tried a couple asada tacos. Both were excellent! If you like Mexican food, give this place a try. I'm going back!

Tried a couple of carne asada tacos for lunch and was blown away by the flavor!! The meat was perfectly cooked, corn tortillas were soft and chewy. Pico, guacamole, and hot salsa on top balanced perfectly. Also picked up some carne asada, tortillas, salsa, and guacamole to take home for later. This is my new go-to spot.

They have an amazing staff, the food is great especially when you pair it with there salsa options. Overall would highly recommend shopping here.

This store was recommended to me by my foodie father. The staff is super friendly, speaks perfect English if you don’t speak Spanish, and great customer service. The selection is really good, the store is open, organized and very clean. I was able to find all the things I needed and will be back for sure! Glad they are doing well since they just opened recently.
