Safeway

Thank you Safeway, Scottsdale and Shea!!!! 5! Beautifully arranged and delicious catering trays wowed me and our 50+ guests! I ordered too much food as each tray was ABUNDANTLY filled. Fine Cheese and Fruit-awesome selection of fine cheeses and fresh fruit!! (we ordered the 18" if available and the were huge!!!)

Veggie Tray beautifully arranged with two flavors of hummus...
and an additional fruit tray...The fruit was fresh, sweet, from the cantaloupe, honeydew, berries of all varieties, grapes, watermelon *actually the fruit on the cheese tray most likely was enough fruit however I am eating the melon and berries now so the left overs are being put in smoothies some frozen like the berries and pineapple..etc...
My guests kept asking "where did the food come from?" and it certainly did not "break the bank". Excellent value, Excellent quality!
I would, of course, use this Safeway location if I ever need to cater a large or small gathering as they offer so many different foods to serve beautifully and of great quality. I cannot wait to be able to have the occasions to try more!

I’m not good at doing reviews but the Starbucks at this Safeway deserves one! The barista at Starbucks Dennie was so friendly and provided probably the best service I’ve ever had at a Starbucks. Someone give this girl a raise! She made my morning a good one, thanks!

Safeways always have a nice produce department. This one did not disappoint. My daughter and I were in just minutes before 8:00 p.m. and most of the service departments were closed. Jim, in the bakery was facing his displays before leaving but asked if we needed anything behind the counter. We said no but he stayed while we looked at the pretty cakes in the display. When he asked again if he could be of any service before he left. I realized he was probably over on his shift since it was passed 8:00 by then. This is much better service than expected from a grocery store.

I like the supermarket a lot they have every thing you may need , is always clean and people who work there where very nice and helpful . The parking is very big , I recommend try to go in the mid of the day .. is almost empty ,and you can shop easily. Thanks a lot.

Nice time in and out without any problems store is easy to navigate and has great deals and nice outside seating for meals. Bought two packages of bacon, two packages hot dogs, two half gallon bryers ice cream & 12 count charmin strong tp. Everything for only$30.

Over all I like this store a lot. It is big and bright and all the departments seem to be a little bigger than many of their other stores.
The employees I came in contact with were all nice, polite and friendly.
Plenty of parking and easy in and out.
Just watch out for the ignorant drivers who are in a rush. But this happens everywhere.
I will definitely go back here when I am in this area.

Huge shout-out to Miss Deni (sp?) in their floral department! She took extra time and showed obvious interest in creating a lovely corsage for me to present to my mother at our wedding today! You're good person Deni and thanks!

Stocked and we'll organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a table with an awning out front to enjoy your food.

Wonderful customer service! Workers were the absolute sweetest chatting and playing with my son. Max and the girl that was cashiering next to her are gems!! Take good care of those youngsters Safeway!! Thank you!!!

Great customer service, store is always clean, one of my favorites Safeways in town. I came to buy a desert, and they always have excellent selections

We had not been to this Safeway until Sunday. It is a well laid out facility, clean and friendly with plenty of service personnel to serve you. Did I mention Greg the Beer Sommelier! So knowledgeable and friendly. Actually, the Safeway service station was what attracted us into the store. Gas pricing here isn't like the Safeway in Fountain Hills where the gas, even with your discount, is higher than some stations within just a few miles.

Lots of parking. Friendly, helpful employees. New checkout lines are opened when they feel there are too many people waiting in a line. They seem to be well prepared with items in stock when special low sale prices are offered on certain items. If they run out of a special sale item, rainchecks can be obtained from a cashier or at the customer service counter.

Great selection, service, prices and people. If you or someone you know likes to eat food, or use toilet paper...this place is for you. 🙃

I feel it's one of the best grocery stores around. The weekly ad specials are great. The cleanliness & kind service are exceptional !

Typical Safeway, nice and clean with a good selection of most groceries, has a nice fresh bakery, has a nice large beer and wine, and hard alcohol selection. Meat and seafood department looked nice and fresh. Prices seemed competitive. Cheaper if you use their club card.

I don't normally do my meat shopping here but I just thought it was necessary to let you know that you have a real asset in your meat department named Dayton. He custom cut a steak for me and did a great job .His attitude really was terrific. He is pleasant and eager to answer questions and make sure you get exactly what you need. It's a rare thing to come across a young person with such a great attitude and attentiveness to customer service .He deserves a pat on the back.

Always a kind employee or customer and never a bad experience here. I am always greeted with a smile. A ten. Superb. There is not enough space here for how I feel about the Safeway here in Scottsdale on Shae Blvd and Scottsdale Rd. Two thumbs up!
