Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex

Great community sports center! they always seem to be having activities for the community. A great pool and two pads for either ice or floor sports.

Excellent place for recreation activities. They also have big community hall capacity of around 400 people. Performance stage, Round Tables. Chairs. Excellent washroom facilities. Friendly staff.

Annual Highland Games & Festival held here is awesome! 3 days of music, celtic culture, dancing, crafts, animals, vendors, food, etc. Get yer kilt on and enjoy the fun!

2nd time in a very long time being here. We came for the Canada day fireworks and I must say that parking was available and it was easy to walk around. They had some sports activities on the field for kids and adults to play with and they had a stage where they played music and they kinda had a get up and dance area for everyone of all ages to participate. My family had what you could have called a front row view of the fireworks and the display was amazing. I can honestly say I'm glad we avoided the congestion at other fireworks displays. Thanks for the great and memorable evening. Till next year. Cheers!!

Went to the fall fair. The children had a great time. It was busy but the vendor and ride people were great. They really made an effort to make sure the kids had fun. I would go back again.

This facility is very well designed and well kept. This community center is a hub of great events and great community spirit. I really enjoy coming here to watch or participate in our families events. The CWCC is a space to be admired and copied if you get a chance.

Everyone volunteering or working there were very helpful in showing where I was to go to get my 3rd shot. Didn’t hardly feel the needle going in. Got my proof of vaccination and waited the 15 minutes for any adverse reaction which I didn’t have and then showed myself out of the building. Feel great as I write this recommendation 12 hours later.👍

Great place for everyone. Excellent community sports plex. Skating swimming lacrosse hockey gym, kids summer programs.....etc. check it out.

Went to the truck pulls, Saturday night. Needed at least 3 more food vendors. The lineups were huge and it took almost 45 minutes to get anything. Had a really good time.

The out door rink was excellent (groomed by the Zamboni), sunny day, not too crowded, large enough that three groups with hockey sticks, and three family groups were able to enjoy the ice without feeling crowded. Last week we actually had the whole rink to ourselves. Fergus best kept secret. Oh oh.

Great pool area with a warm wading pool and a slide. This pool is very accessible for persons with a disability. The twin ice pads are really nice. This building is modern and situated on the edge of town. There is ample above ground parking here and community rooms available to rent.

Awesome pool for little kids or those just learning to swim! Nice staff and good hours of operation! Programming is solid too. The family change room is great for strollers and kid baggage.

Attended here to get my 3rd booster shot for covid. Also received my other 2 shots there. Guelph Public Health has a fantastic system set up. Building is always clean and everything well organized.

Absolutely a beautiful centre..Clean, friendly, and has everything...They go above and beyond. On family day they had free skating from 11:00am-5:00pm, free hotdogs, free water and drink boxes, and chips and balloons put on by Realtors..it was the best..our grandsons skated at least 2-3 hours. We would go back in a heart beat.👍

Been coming here for years for hockey. The snack bar consistently serves the best chicken fingers and fries anywhere. And those two things are surprisingly easy to mess up! I seriously don’t know how they do it. Their coffee is also quite good and that’s saying a lot for a snack bar! I love this place!

I went for my covid-19 vaccine and it was well organized and social distancing was enforced and hand sanitizer everywhere. In and out in 40 min. Lines look long due to distancing, but aren't bad.

I absolutely love the Sportsplex. I grew up going to the arena and then it got the amazing facelift and additions. I take my kids to karate, public and swimming lessons, watch hockey, attend events and go to the gym there. My single only complaint is there isn't much for weekday evening public swimming... Can't scratch my swimming itch on the weekdays.

It serves its purpose 100x over for me and my family and I will continue to get the most out of it.

Also, don't drive down the back of the Sportsplex behind the building... The potholes will absolutely destroy your vehicle!

They have a nice ice rink, a decent slide that kids would find fun (adults as well) and it's kept well cleaned.
