Typical Spanish restaurant with a friendly service and very good value for your money. We had an excellent swordfish and a cheap but good white wine (the house wine is OK to accompany lunch). Only the tortilla Espagnola was a bit too salted to our taste.

We just had one of the best paella I’ve had in my life. It is such a humble and unassuming restaurant where both the locals and tourist flock together at peak hours to be served with their fresh meals. We arrived late in the afternoon at around 6pm (make sure to take the right bus 25) and most of the restaurants in El Palmar were closed. But Canyamel was still opened and we were accommodated by a friendly staff. The menu is so affordable and everything just tasted so great!

Excellent food and typical Valencian place. Service could be better since we had to wait a lot for many things but the food was excellent and a true València place for great paella. Not badly price.

I dont get the bad reviews. This is the only place open after 5pm in El Palmar. So it's the only place where you can eat and then catch the boat tour to watch the sunset. The place has a real local atmosphere to it, which to me made me feel like i was getting the real deal. The employees didn't speak English and the menu was in Spanish but you don't need to be Albert Einstein to figure it out. The paella was delicious. If you are looking for something bugee to put on your instagram, this is not the place. But if you want to taste a delicious Valencian paella for dinner in El Palmar then it's a decent place and well priced. 15 Euros for entree main and a dessert + tee and water. No regrats

This place has run in generations and
if your looking for the authentic paella I belive you found the place. They also have lot of tapas on menu and do event catering. Owners are nice and employees seems hard working and professional. What we miss are the birds in garden. Also felt maybe prices was tad more expensive than last. Enjoy

One of the best paella I've had in Spain in the most subtle ways... Better ingredients and value which I didn't realize until other places cannot quite capture the same flavour

I highly recommend the place ! Great food, grat service, we asked for help with menu as it's all in Spanish, we asked for local specials and gentleman (I don't remember the name) with nice long hair 😍 explained everything, he was patient and very nice. Best Paella Valenciana and Emperor fish. We will be back for more local food.

And I loved the chairs, reminded me of home, as we used to have same ones at ho back in Poland...

Wow. Best paella and rices I have ever tried. Really worthy the trip there. Prices are affordable and product quality is exquisite.
Service is attentive and helpful.
Paellas are huge and tasty.
They also have free parking on the premises. Booking is mandatory.

Nothing better than having paella in the área where the rice is grown! A fixed price menu for under 15€ including drinks. Also an extensive menu if that doesn't suit. Good service and free parking if you eat there. Book to ensure your place.

Delicious All i pebre, friendly staff.

The food was great and came very quickly. Furthermore we really really ate a lot and had 2 drinks per person. We paid a little less than 15 Euros per Person. Super!!!
