The Whittington Arms

Fantastic night with 15 family members for my 30th birthday! We had our own section of the pub and our own waitress for the night who was incredibly helpful. Service from both waitress and bar staff was great and all food/drinks came out in great time without us waiting long. 10/10 for the food from all of us and the portion sizes were spot on and great value for money. Great place if you want somewhere really nice for a special occasion. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Very good ambience, they were busy, there was no spoon with the pasta which surprised me but that was all. Oh also, the salt came out like Niagara Falls. I’m just being picky, we had a fantastic meal here. The bar looked great. All the dishes were different and delicious. Genuinely. This is a class place, more than that it was mega busy too. I loved it.

Had our wedding here over the weekend and WOW, cannot fault them! And we were told this was their first wedding. Massively impressed! Highly recommended!

Great food on the menu to cater to pretty much all palettes and a brilliant selection of drinks to pair with it (including alcohol-free).
Ther service couldn't have been any better, with the staff taking care of us throughout and making sure we were always topped up for drinks and that we were never waiting more than 10mins for food.
Thoroughly recommended for anyone dropping in for either a nice lunch or dinner and somewhere I'll definitely be returning to.

Food quality spot on...service was also spot on and waitress came to ask if we were enjoying our meal which is a nice touch at all times...drinks were reasonably priced starter and dessert was fantastic....will be taking a family group there soon as we had a lovely experience.

I have very severe food allergies and I came here for dinner last week and felt so taken care of despite my allergies. Our waiter Charlie was so attentive and gave me full confidence that what I was eating was safe for me and that the head chef had prepared it themselves. Thank you so much to The Whittington Arms and especially Charlie for such a wonderful experience. I would definitely come back here again!

Just had a beautiful Steak @ The Whittington Arms, the chef Connor cooked my Ribeye exactly how I like it, Bleu!!!! We’ll certainly be returning very soon. Keep up the great work!!!

Food and pub itself was fantastic. Our server James was exceptional, brilliant menu knowledge even giving us reccomendations. He looked after us so well and deserves all the credit! We will definitely be dining here again.

Had a lovely family meal 6 of us before the England game. Service was good, menu was fine. Very nicely furnished with some booths large enough for 6 adults. My husband and both had the crab and prawn fishcakes. We both commented on how tasty and moist they were. The chicken escalope was also very good.

Quality food, very friendly staff... What more can you ask for?!

Food was bought out in a timely manner but just right that you didn’t feel rushed.
Over all lovely experience every time.
The only one thing last night was that the chips were a little hard.

We came during a midweek evening whilst it was fairly quiet. We had plenty of choice so chose to sit by the log fire. Food was really nice, staff were friendly and chatty. All round a really nice experience here.

Two of us ate here and we both chose different items. We both enjoyed our food. We also like the fact that the room is light, airy and tables not to close to each other.

I went for lunch today for the first time at the Whittington Arms, fab Fillet Steak Sandwich guys! Compliments to the chef!

Service was great and also the atmosphere. I'm looking to take members of the family on my next visit! Well done guys!

We visit occasionally usually during the weekend. Today we had an amazing exceptional meal. Oh what joy everything was served piping hot and freshly cooked, instead of being kept warm. Staff were cheerful and attentive.
Really made such a difference and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Nice upmarket pub with great staff and the food was to a high standard. If you enjoy burgers the dirty burger is amazing. My parter had the steak and said it was very good.
