Really enjoyed our Christmas meal here today, and as usual really enjoyed our visit. Food was amazing besides some undercooked parsnips but besides that the food was spot on. Always a great atmosphere. Staff were suoer friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was absolutely melting due to the heat inside but otherwise, loved it

We visited the restaurant for the first time today, food and service was really good. The signature burger was one of the best I've ever eaten. The restaurant also is nice and they have a huge terrace if want to stay outside. Very nice place with good food, highly recommend.

Arrived with family for my birthday brunch today. As soon as you drive in it feels like a magical kingdom, the atmosphere, the music and the scenery were lovely. Quick and lovely service and the staff were very welcoming and patient. Food was demolished off of the plate. All in all a 10star place and restaurant will definitely be going back !

Our booking was respected as we needed a table with disabled access and near to the women’s WC.
We were seated swiftly and kindly.
The service throughout was wonderful and the food was great.
It was a great early evening dinner and we will be returning.
Would recommend to anyone 👍

The great friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us as it was our wedding day meal of 12 people. Tue service was outstanding and table and room was set out and arranged for us. The food was all delivered for all of us together so no one was sat waiting.
For us it was perfect and helped to make our day.

An excellent menu that had delicious food and plenty of options. The lamb duo was exceptional. The cheese board for dessert was perfect. A charming pub outside of Lichfield.

The customer service was impeccable, the staff were extremely friendly. The food service was timely and the food was absolutely delicious. The booking system and payment was easy to navigate. It felt like we were valued customers and our experience was important to the staff. It didn’t feel like we were another customer on a conveyor belt. Our Christmas dinner was definitely one to remember!

We’ve visited the Hedgehog several times now and it’s been a great meal every time. Always great food and service at a lovely location. We were served by Justina today and she was such a joy, such a lovely person she really made our visit today.

Great evening, but my salad would have fed a family of four! Lovely food and great service. Same menu but far better than wolsley Arms, which is our local. Worth the extra few miles!

We’ve always drove past this place but decided to drop in today for breakfast. We was greeted by a very attentive young man so I can’t give any less than 5 stars for service. The food was spot on and well worth the money. Will definitely return here to try the Lunch time menu.

There were 5 of us went today for Christmas dinner and what a lovely and enjoyable time we had the atmosphere and dining experience was first class and the service was great too excellent day all round. We were served by Chloe who was very polite and friendly and professional. It was our first visit there and we will definitely go again and definitely recommend. Thanks for the hospitality and great food.

Always a friendly welcome. Haven't eaten here for a while, but last time we did it was divine. The building and decorations are all very tasteful and like I say, a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Called in today for a "pick me up" hot drink, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We found a wonderful nook under the grapevines, very pretty and relaxing 💖🦔

Was there with family last night and Justyna was fantastic, friendly and professional - she is a credit to the restaurant. I had the seabass and it was out of this world - best I've ever had. Absolutely delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will definitely be returning - love it.

Although the restaurant was busy, Christmas day, we were served quick. Our table was pri booked and they had dressed it lovely, including place names.
The staff were attentive and polite and the food was plentiful and faultless. We could not fault anything. Well done to everyone.

Went to this place as our children were up for the weekend visiting us. We wanted to go somewhere different and new. Our daughter gave us three places to choose from and the Hedgehog won out. We booked a table and we are glad we did. The place is very clean and well presented. There is a lovely outside seating area where you can enjoy the garden while enjoying your drink. We were shown our table and our drinks order was taken. About 5 minutes later they took our food order and within 10 minutes our starters arrived. Lovely just enough to make you want your main meal. After we finished our starter our main meal arrived. They were just perfect couldn't fault any of them, lovely and hot. They also have the Spanish beer Estrella on draft, which is a lovely beer having lived in Barcelona for many years. The bill came as we didn't have room for any puddings. The total cost i thought fairly expensive but I suppose for such a high standard of meal you expect to pay, so fair enough.

Been a few times now and like most of the other vintage inns, the food is always spot on.
Went this time just before Christmas and there were offering a Christmas menu and had decorated for Christmas well too. Particularly impressive tree in the room you first walk into.

There's lots of space outside and tables outside for seating and dining during the summer.

i highly recommend here. Having stayed at The Hedgehog this weekend we couldn't have asked for a better experience. it did not start off well, not the staffs fault i hasten to add but an IT glitch over payment. This was resolved and we had a lovely meal on Friday evening. The team all carried out social distancing and were very attentive.
The room was clean and hardly any noise even though above the bar and restaurant and on a busy road. we enjoyed the food so much we decided to have our Sunday lunch which again was exceptional. whilst dining the team were faced a few issues with a leak, not fazed they dealt with it well and moved diners.
it seemed to me a well led team who clearly work hard together. I am not normally one for an essay, so sorry not sorry but the efforts of everyone we dealt with should be recognised. Finally to the young lady who dealt with us on arrival, yes it didnt go smoothly but your customer service was perfect, kept calm at all times. thank you we will be visiting again!

First time visiting this restaurant tonight and had a wonderful experience - we will definitely be back. The food was amazing, particularly the lamb, and the service was impeccable. Justyna was perfect and made our experience even more enjoyable.

Attentive but not overbearing waiting staff. Wonderful food and drink. Fabulous atmosphere in stunning setting.
