A hidden gem, could have by passed this pub but once inside the team were very welcoming, great service and even had the fire on. Now down to the food, we was surprised every dish was presented with care and love and tasted really good. If you’re in the area check out this place! Best food in the area.

We spent two nights in our campervan at the campsite and enjoyed a fantastic meal in the restaurant at the Cwellyn Arms. The food was high quality, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The campsite is fairly basic in terms of facilities but clean and tidy with stunning views and a beautiful location right on the lake just a half-hour walk from the pub itself. We will definitely return next summer to enjoy some wildwater swimming in the lake.

It's a lovely pub with a warm atmosphere and great food. Situated right in the heart of Snowdonia. Piece tranquility and a sense of calm surround you. They also have bunkhouses to hire Which are superb.

Absolutely incredible food. We really hadn't expected it to be so good!! Beautifully presented, imaginative menu and delicious. Really generous with the meat as well.
Pub is in a lovely location, and we sat down along the river. Only flaw was that the outside seating area did look a bit tired, but the food and views more than made up for it

We are staying just down the road and went for dinner here last night.

We had smoked trout for starter, I had the slow cooked chicken supreme, my partner had the slow cooked lamb.
For pudding I had the scone and cream and my other half had raspberry and blackberry roulade.

All the food was just cooked to perfection. Served by lovely friendly staff and in a stunningly beautiful part of Wales.

If you are in this part of the world, you should definitely drop in here for dinner.

The food at this pub is excellent. One of our party is celiac, and the pub catered for this with most of the items on the menu. Great beer range, including real ales from the local brewery. Friendly service, good atmosphere with superb views of Snowdon. The only downside was no WiFi, especially in a place with no phone reception - this would be really helpful.

Unassuming small village pub with rooms. Do not pass this by, the food and service is spectacular! The menu reads well, but doesn't do it justice, the food really is very very good. Staff are amazing and relaxed, good options for all tastes and dietary requirements too. Definitely worth making a detour for.

My friend lives very local and suggested we call in to try out the desserts. I had the homemade sticky toffy pudding and it was out of this world. One of the best I think I've ever had (... And I've had a lot of desserts).

The services was super fast despite how busy they were. Would highly recommend the desserts. To be honest, I'll be going back to try the main meals as they sounded incredible!

Didn't stay here but ate some of the finest food I've ever tasted. The menu is really imaginative and Talented Tom really is a most creative chef. The hospitality was fantastic and service quick and en pointe - highly recommend this place for 5 star food.

Stopped here for an early dinner managing to get the table next to the fire. Lovely food including rump of Welsh lamb, a bacon steak, a cottage pie and a kid's burger (which was the same size, and twice as tasty, as an adult's burger we encountered in a different pub the day before!). Reasonable prices for superior meals.
Good service from a young and friendly team with a clientele probably half local and half walkers/campers. Dogs allowed.

We haven't eaten here for some years and we're very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and pleasant surroundings. Care was obviously being put into everything and the real ale was good. Would definitely recommend stopping and we'll be back.

Food in the pub was great!
We had Tuna Carpaccio, Soup of the day, Lamb, Mushroom risotto and Curry.
Lamb was cooked perfectly and risotto was so nice we had it two days on a row.
Staff was very nice and helpful. Also - great beer 🍺!

Great pub for a base for Snowdon. Good food and decent beers. Campsite down the road which you pay at the pub for.

We stayed at the Cwellyn Arms accommodation at the Farm House down the road. Fantastic place, well maintained and clean. We enjoyed great food every night at the pub. I left my Apple Ear Buds at the house by mistake and telephoned the pub on the off chance they could look for them. The pub not only found them but posted them to my address free of charge! Outstanding service, would highly recommend. Pub and house in a great location too and close to some great walks.

We booked Sunday Roast here and the food was delicious! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The open log fire was a real treat! One of us has a dairy allergy and staff made sure my food was dairy-free, including a Baked Snowdon Alaska dessert made with Vegan ice cream! ! Thank you for a great experience.
