A cosy and quirky little b&b in a brilliant location with lovely hosts. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to climb Snowdon. You can see the mountain from the front bedroom window! A pub a few doors down serving dinner. The Rhyd Ddu path is opposite the b&b. We decided to take the bus from outside the pub, 2 minutes down the road (or a 30 minute walk) and ascent via the Rangers Path and then head back down the Rhyd Ddu path straight back to the b&b.

Emma and Menno looked after us on our 2 night stay. They are great hosts, very helpful and informative yet gave us space and privacy. They cooked a fresh breakfast for us in the mornings including an authentic Dutch apple pancake, offered to fill up water bottles, restocked our room whilst we were out and left us some pieces of cake. Our double room was cosy and had everything you need. I would definitely recommend staying here on your Snowdon trip.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Ideally located for the Rhyd Du path for Snowdon. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and the hosts, Emma and Menno, were most welcoming. And I enjoyed having a chat.

The breakfast was perfect, and lunch I had for the trip up Snowdon set me up for the day. Highly recommended.

Warm welcome. Food excellent...all cooked fresh...Best omelette I've had in a long time. Home made cakes lovely. Dutch specialities are available. Prices very good too. All in all an excellent find for a lunch stopover.

I really like this place. I love the decoration here.
I was impressed with the warm welcome. And most importantly, the food is very delicious, especially the full English Breakfast, I really like it.

There is no online booking system. You need to call them to book a room which is old fashioned and threw me off at first. However, I am happy that I trusted my judgement. I received confirmation email on request and they confirmed my reservation when I called 2 weeks before my stay.

Very friendly and welcoming couple runs this B&B. They know area very well, so advised us what walks to take, what pub needs booking and what activities available in the area. Location is beautiful. Price is affordable. Breakfast was very tasty! Our room was very tidy and cosy. Had TV, small fridge and everything that was necessary. The hosts can pack you lunch for £5, refill thermos with water/tea/coffee, dry your shoes. Really enjoyed our stay there. Would definitely recommend to all!

Great tea room just a short walk into the village from the end of the Rhd Ddu path.
A big pot of really nice tea is just what we needed after a wet day on Snowdon. Cakes and buns were also very appetising. Décor was comfortable and charming. Even though it was late in the day on Sunday, the staff were warm and welcoming.
The staff are really helpful too, when we had no phone signal while
phoning for a taxi. They lent us their phone, took the time to check that their records on the available firms were up to date.

Came across this little gem looking for a place to get breakfast before going up mount Snowdon. Loved the quirky decoration with the cosy vibe. The dutch pancakes were delicious, as well as our packed lunch. The owners were really lovely, would love to come back for the B&B experience!

Was staying over the road and was hoping to get to try this place as heard good things, open Thursday to Sunday and it was worth the wait.

Opted for a three course situation as was so much I needed to try before going back to London and back on the beige buffet circuit

Excellent service, very friendly with good portions, will be coming back

Very friendly and served the most wonderful Dutch pancakes. (Banana ones especially good) Home made tiffin rated amazing by husband and possibly the best flapjack I have ever tasted. We ended up going there 4 times in a week!

What an absolute find. The couple who run it are so friendly and really sorted us out while we were staying at the campsite nearby. Delicious food, all homemade, and would strongly recommend the savoury dutch pancakes and the apple pie. Ate at Ty Mawr 4 times in 2 weeks in Snowdonia, and can't wait to be back.

Came across this place by chance after not being able to park in Beddgelert. We had lunch for 4 people including sandwiches, desserts and drinks and could not recommend this tea room enough. The owners are really friendly and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Dutch pancake!

Great quaint tearoom with Dutch owner chef. Delicious pancakes. Mine had black forest bacon and apple drizzled with syrup and icing sugar.
The homemade lemonade was great.
I followed this with an absolutely delicious Dutch Apple Pie with cream

Absolutely lovely place and great value for money! The rooms are cosy and the breakfasts huge and made fresh! The location of the b&b is excellent, only a two-minute walk from a great pub that offers craft beers and high quality food, and loads of walk g trails on the doorstep!

A charming little B&B in a fabulous location. The owners are very accommodating and genuinely nice people to talk to. You have to try the Dutch pancake for breakfast if you like a treat in the mornings. I would have no problem recommending this B&B

Great place for a fabulous breakfast- everything from full English to amazing savoury Dutch pancakes. Fabulous owners who are welcoming and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. Great food in a cosy cafe with eclectic decor and good company...what more could you want? If you're coming to this area you definitely want to pop in and enjoy the warm welcome and great food provided by Emma and Menno

Such a lovely little B&B perfectly situated for various different routes up Snowdon. Rooms were very clean and facilitates perfect, including bathroom, wifi, breakfast, packed lunches, rooms cleaned daily. Landlords knew lots about the local area and all the best routes, which they were happy to share. The homemade goodies in the rooms were a nice touch and greatly appreciated half way up Snowdon. The pub just 2 mins walk was perfectly located just at the bottom of the route down and the food and beer was great. I'd recommend booking especially during the holidays. Overall a fantastic stay and we'd definitely book again.

Parked at the stations NT car park and walked along the path to the Tea Room. No need to walk in the road at all. Sublime. Mighty coffee set against the backdrop drop of the mountains. Lovely people. And did I mention the cheese and onion toastie! Nothing will every be the same again. I will return for more.
