A great place to relax after a hard day on the mountains. Loads of hot water, comfy beds and a down to earth host with a wicked sense of humour. Give it a try especially if you want to go up the Watkin Path or round Llyn Dinas. Ask and there are directions for fishing and paddle boarding too. If you can’t be bothered to cook the excellent Caffi Gwynant is a 5 minute walk.

Fantastic stay in the Conwy pod for two nights! Pods are comfortable and clean and shared bathroom facilities were fine. Tea and coffee facilities in the pod, although the Uht milk sachets provided were out of date. Everything else was perfect. Owner was very welcoming and gave good advice on arrival for activities and places to eat in the area.
Perfect location for the Watkin path or the Sherpa bus to catch one of the other trail routes. Situation nearby two lakes great for paddle boarding and not too far from Bedgellert. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

We were a group of 8 (2 families) and stayed in the Dragon’s Den and Lair. The accommodation was perfect. With an adjoining door we were able to have our own rooms with en-suites and an ample kitchen and living space to share meals and play games. Warm and dry, with comfortable beds and bedding, the perfect place to finish off a day adventuring and walking. Positioned at the start of the Watkin Path the location is perfect. 😊

I would strongly recommend Bryn Dinas to anyone visiting the Snowdon area. My partner and I stayed 2 nights and found the staff to be friendly and very accommodating. We were very happy with the pod/facilities which were affordable, clean, warm and perfect for our needs with a great view from the site. You could hear the nearby river and feel immersed in nature as the site is quiet with little passing traffic. Prime location for access to the Watkin Path up snowdon (2mins walk from the start point) and 5min drive from the nearest pub/restaurant. However, nearest big Tesco & petrol station close to 20mins away if you need snacks/fuel. Overall, we would rate 5/5 and would definitely stay again!

Perfect pods with comfortable beds and a kettle for tea! Fantastic showers . Only limitation is the size of the site and very close to the road. Brilliant staff and easy check in/ check out. Waking distance to Watkin path upto Snowdon summit.

I had a great stay at this location earlier this month. Pods were perfect for somewhere to rest after hiking (and nice and warm!), commodities were clean and it was very good value for money. Perfect for taking the Watkin Path up Snowdon, the start is literally a 2 min walk down the road!

Small, simple, and perfect pods for getting a good night's sleep around hikes. The pods have comfortable mattresses and a heater so are super cosy. Anthony gave me a call a few days before our trip and explained the site and what was available nearby - really helpful. Bumped into him on site a couple of times for a friendly chat too. Only 10 mins drive to the Pen-y-pass for climbing Snowdon (or apparently you can walk straight from the pods - think via the Watkins Pass). Excellent showers - clean and hot. You do need to bring your own sleeping bag/duvet, but a bottom sheet, pillow, and pillowcase is provided. There's a little sink area with fridge, microwave, kettle (no cooker/hob). Overall we had a lovely stay, and I'd come to stay again in the future!

What an amazing place! We didn't expect a lot as this supposed to be one step up from camping itself but what an fantastic adventure! The facilities are basic but that's what we needed: shared bathroom with shower, a kitchenette to quickly wash up, barbecue area which we used quite a lot. I advise to bring your own cutlery and a camping cooking stove if you planning to have a warm breakfast etc. Other than that the spot is just by the mountains, close to a lake and forest, what more could you need?

For anyone looking to stay somewhere comfier than a tent but without the expense of a hotel I would reccomend the camping pods here. a very nice, self catered pod 15 mins from the pen y fan car park for snowdon. the whole experience is contactless with the key hung on the door and all the instructions for check in and check out in a welcome pack. the bathroom you're assinged is only shared with one other pod so there's rarely an issue with access. everything is spotless and there's plenty of utilities for cleaning clothes and cooking equipment. very quiet and relaxing, perfect for solo travellers or families.

I would reccomend the wifi package as the area has no 4G signal.

We have just had 2 lovely nights at the camp site. We stayed in the large red dragon lodge which was lovely and clean and very well equipped. Lovely and warm and with hot water. Perfect for a walk up the Watkin path to the summit of Snowdon. Parking is on the road side but not an issue.

I highly recommend this location for your glamping vacation. Especially the heaters in the pods and the hot water showers were suuuch a nice luxury to have after long hikes and a day exploring in cold rainy weather. The Sherpa bus stops not far from the camp site (and if you ask nicely they’ll let you out at the camp). They also helped make it possible to get around easily even without a car.

Cute cosy pods, nice to have somewhere warm and dry with Welsh weather. We had very quick WiFi and sockets in the pod to charge devices, heater keeps the pods toasty.
Bathrooms cleaned daily and the pods are in an excellent location for getting out in hills with some great cafes nearby at Nant Gwynant and Beddgelert.

Anthony was very accommodating. He gave us some brief about area, and pod complex.
Location was very beautiful. Highly recommended for short breaks from bysy city life.

Good place to stay in the foot of snowdon. Beautiful location and easy accommodation. Everything is clean and ready and only a few things need to be done before departure. Residences are small, but don’t need to be bigger. There are inside rooms in the cottage, a cabin and some camping pods. The cottage and cabin all have their own cooking devices but the pods do not.

What a great place to stay, had exactly what we needed for the two nights.
Very clean facilities and no problems at all. Great for getting straight on the hills.

What a lovely camping pod stay! It's like camping but much less schlep. Warm, cosy, and a beautiful location. Right at the start of the Watkin path to Snowdon, and only 10-15 minute drive to Pyg/Miner or Rhydd Du/Snowdon Ranger. Loved our little stay at Bryn Dinas!

Nice little camp pod. The bed was good. The bathroom was really clean. The location is excellent if you're going to climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
