Loved this campsite as someone who can spend up to 10 hours on their phone a day. There’s no option but to enjoy the countryside, which is great for a short trip, considering the absence of any service or wifi within a 10 minute drive. We stayed as a couple with the dog which we kept on a lead and we had plenty of room from others (probably at least 20 meters) - we camped right in the back corner on the field that doesn’t house the toilet and shower block. This seemed to be a good decision as I’ve seen a few recent complaints about the farm dogs barking but they live close to the other field so if they were noisy we definitely didn’t hear a thing. Each pitch comes with a large fire pit and logs to sit on with firewood per night at £7. The toilet block has 2 showers and 2 toilets for women and I believe there’s only 1 toilet for the men + urinals and a unisex shower - these seem to be cleaned daily later on in the night. The showers were lovely and hot once they got going the water pressure isn’t great but you can’t expect miracles somewhere so off grid. Definitely take some shower shoes as the bathroom floor itself is pretty muddy. The only improvement I can really suggest is to supply drinking water as the water supply comes from the spring and must be boiled to drink. There is a communal freezer that is only to be used for ice blocks which you can rotate in and out of the freezer and your cool box. I recommend labelling your ice blocks before you arrive as ours went missing :(. Overall, you can’t complain when other sites are charging £40+ a night for something extremely similar, when this site costs £18 for a couple and a dog per night. Not to mention, the stream which runs along the side of the campsite (and sounds so relaxing I slept like a log for 12 hours) travels far up into the hills and is the best wild swimming spot I’ve ever been to with amazing waterfalls and pools.

A perfect little cabin in the countryside. The location is idyllic, with woods, waterfalls and paths on your doorstep. For the adventurous, one of the paths up Snowdon is accessible from the farm, for the less adventurous there are loads of villages and seaside resorts to visit.

Very nice campsite. This site has great views and is situated at the base of the Watkins path of Snowdon. The site has shower and toilet facilities onsite. There is also firewood available at an additional cost of £7 per day. Each tent pitch comes with a fire pit so you can light a campfire.

There is no mobile phone signal at the site so be prepared to go without internet and phones for the duration of your time here. The local towns are around 20 minutes drive away and there are no shops nearby so make sure you bring all your supplies or be prepared to drive out to get some.

Overall we really liked this site and would definitely visit again in the future.

I used this campsite as a base to do the watkins path. Absolutely perfect to do so as sits at the bottom of path. Beautiful surroundings. The nearest village is very pretty and is about 50mins to an hour walk away. I unfortunately was only there for the one night but will definitely be returning for longer next time.

Great campsite. Toilets & hot showers that were clean and despite only 2 of each never had to wait. Washing up sink with cold water. Tumble dryer that was £1 to use. Firewood £7 a night from a large pile in the carpark. Paid via cash. All very simple but good. Great location for climbing yr wyddfa and for exploring the pools above the campsite.

My only grievance is the carpark isn’t marked out, meaning if people park spaced apart it becomes ‘full’ quickly leaving no where to park without blocking access.

We have just got back from a 2 night stay here, what a beautiful place. Katy is welcoming and the views are spectacular. The electric shower was nice and warm, fire logs perfect for when you're back from the summit and you're cold and hungry! Hearing the animals in the morning was great, you can tell they are well looked after. Toilets and showers clean, electric charging points for cars, washing machine and water (you have to boil!) All in all a great experience and will be coming back!

Great location for hiking up Mount Snowden. A pretty easy location to get to as well. There's a little outhouse in the carpark where you pick up your label, with lots of helpful information on the surrounding area. Plus its show lots of good walking routes as well as all the ways to get up the mountain. Site has some all round good views. Think I'll definitely be coming back in the future.

Absolutely lovely campsite. Great refurbished toilets and shower facilities. Watkin Path from camping. Lots of different walks you can start there. Few lakes in close distance. No signal at all. Which was big bonus. You can reset there and feel the nature. Kate who looks after the site was happy to share her knowledge about the area. She was very friendly and easy to talk. Thank you Kate. I had opportunity to meet the manager Antonio who was helpful too. I would recommend this camping to anyone who wants peace and relax. 💚

Fantastic place in my opinion. Toilet and shower facilities always clean. Fire pits for a little bonfire. Lovely river running through. Sits between 2 lakes for a bit of kayaking.
There is no phone signal anywhere though, but made us socialise more and be present I guess. We were there for 4 days.
Joined the Watkin path straight from the campsite. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful site and no fuss entry and set up. Perfect for an early morning rise to walk the Watkin path to the Snowdon summit, or even to explore the surrounding areas. Even when ‘fully booked’, you wouldn’t notice! Lots of space around between each pitch. Each pitch area has its own seating set up with fire pit in the middle. Huge pile of chopped wood available to set your fires up! Clean toilet and shower facilities, definitely will be staying again when we do snowdon- will come as a bigger group!

Enjoyed staying here! Reasonable price. Clean facilities. Own fire pit for each pitch (
£7 for firewood each use) - located at the start of the Watkins Trail.

No signal or wifi but I personally liked that. Would def stay here again. P.s. bring drinking water or boil it at site.

Nice little camping site with clean toilets and shower. Plenty of wood for fire and also a freezer for ice packs and a drier for cloths. Right a the start of Watkin Path so is ideal for climbers. The car park is right next to the camp and has 15-20 spaces.

Great campsite especially for the price. Katie couldn't help us enough and went out her way to ensure we was settled in. The facilities were adequate and each pitch has its own fire pit. The campsite is a situated on the Watkin path of Mount Snowdon although if you wish to scramble Crib Goch then you can get a bus to Pen-Y-Pass from the entrance to the campsite. We will definitely be staying again.

Brilliant little campsite, great price and everything you need! Katie who runs the site is very friendly & welcoming and keeps the showers and toilets super clean! Areas for fires and lots of wood to accompany, best to pitch away from the farm to avoid any noise.

Thanks for the stay, no doubt we will be back!

Stumbled upon this site by mere chance whilst looking for somewhere to stay and climb Snowdon via the Watkin path. What a serendipitous treat! The site itself is easy to find and simple to access. Katie was super helpful and gave me some great tips that certainly helped my summit. Facilities are very well maintained and there's everything you could need.
The only issue is there is no WiFi/mobile internet signal for miles! I had to drive ~6 miles to make a phone call, which wasn't a big problem but I hadn't considered in advance.
If you're climbing Snowdon then you get great signal up the mountain.
Would definitely recommend!
