Llanberis Bike Hire

Excellent service from Nigel this afternoon, yet again.
My main cog had come loose and bent. We met up with Nigel this morning and within a few hours he had straightened tue cog & re attached it.

We used Llanberis bikes a few years ago, when we hired a carriage for a new puppy

I rented two adult bikes, a child bike and a trailer for my youngest. We were very happy with the bikes, service from Nigel and his wife, and the price. I would definitely recommend this shop if you're thinking of hiring a bike in Snowdonia or as I did just want a relaxing activity with the family around the beautiful lake there (see pic!).

Used Llanberis Bike Hire whilst guiding and coaching clients for Adventure Activities Wales and at Blue Peris Mountain Centre. Top quality bikes, especially the new Sonder Transmitters. Nigel has always been very accommodating and has provided a great service.

Absolutely lovely owner who couldn’t be more helpful and genuine. Hired 2 road bikes which ran really nicely and were very affordable.

Awesome place for bike hire! Nigel was very helpful and dropped us off bikes as well as collected them and even brought us an extra bike! He also left us all the essentials , pump, lock and repair kit! Definitely recommend 😎

Nigel was a pleasure to talk to and you instantly get the vibe that he doesn't have a bad bone in his body. Very rare these days. He had just bought an ice cream when we rocked up, and refused to eat it whilst talking to us, despite our insistence. What a gentleman. Oh yeah, the bikes. Fantastic. All the gear provided too and Nigel was just so patient as my wife and kids spent time deciding which size bike was best for them. He provided excellent local trail advice and seemed to be getting happy feedback from others returning bikes too. To top it all off, we had a problem with one of the bikes. We called Nigel, and I'm not exaggerating, he drove over to us within 10 minutes and provided a replacement. I feel so lucky to have found his company. In case you haven't guessed....Highly recommended. Thank you Nigel!

Rented bikes for two adults and two children. Nigel was friendly and helpful, suggesting routes tailored to our abilities and providing water proof maps
I snapped my chain cycling off road near the top of the mountain. Nigel came up to pick up and replace bike in 10 minutes, at no charge. Highly recommend

We we’re on a tandem bike ride from Fort William to Bristol in 7 days with the 3 peaks thrown in for charity but had some mechanicals we were unable to fix ourselves. Nigel was brilliant and helped us out enormously by fixing the bike as we ran up and down the hill. This act was truly going above and beyond and we are hugely grateful

Nigel provided me and a friend with a mountain bike each. Both bikes were in good, working condition. He also took the time to show us a map and provided some good routes to do. We were given a piece of paper to help us navigate our route which included steps, things to look out for, places worth stopping and pictures. As well as getting the bike, we were provided with a helmet and a bag which included a bike lock, equipment for repairing things like a tyre and a map. The service and price were excellent, would without a doubt recommend.

Rented 2 hardtail bikes with a friend of mine. Both 29 and enjoy some harder trails, rough terrain and a fair bit of speed on the descents. The bikes provided were well up to the job, hydraulic discs, great tyres, decent shocks. We had a fantastic time up some routes suggested by the owner, great guy, great service and an absolute bargain too.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else in snowdonia to hire a bike than this place. Nigel is the most friendly welcoming bloke and very helpful in suggesting the most suitable route with maps and other equipment you might need all provided. All for a very reasonable price aswell 👍🏼😀

We took out 2 adult bikes for 3 hours and had the best time. The route around the lake, up the hill, through the quarry and back into llamberris has some of the most incredible scenic views of mount snowden itself aswell as the the lakes and north welsh country side. The bikes were also brilliant too.

You won’t be disappointed and I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Hired three road bikes and were very well looked after by Nigel, a real diamond, helped us out when we had a puncture too far during the day - superb service, and highly recommended. Every bike hire should be like this.

Enjoyed the most amazing afternoon cycling around Llanberis. We were given a map of the route mostly off road with stunning views. Bikes were top class and very reasonably priced.

Attentive; Efficient; Diligent.
Though our custom only extended to the changing of an inner tube we were treated excellently and the replacement was in place quickly without any hiccups at which point the gentleman kindly gave the bike a look over to check the chain etc. before we were on our way.

Would most definetley suggest for anyone who is in Llanberis/Eryri whose bike needs mechanical attention and equally for anyone looking to hire a bike as if the shop's bikes are as well looked after as mine was, and I have no doubt they are, then you'll be able to rest assured that the bike will carry you to anywhere you need or I suppose want to go without a hitch.

For the 2nd time we choose Nigel to rent bikes from and we can't recommend him more. Great service, he delivers the bikes to where we wanted to meet him. Top quality equipment
