Just wished to share view on our short 2 night trip to climb Snowdon with our 2 young boys during the first few days of half term. Site is lovely and quiet, in wonderful landscape.
Our Yurt was beautify and water tight considering the heavy rain.
The shower and toilet facilities available for sole use of those renting the yurts were clean and lovely.

We had a little difficulty after our trip with communication and obtaining our deposit back.

This has since been very quickly rectified with excellent communication from the 'chat' facility on the website and deposit paid back less than 24 hours after raising this.

Thank you for our wonderful stay and excellent customer care, especially in the last 24 hours.

Great chilled out campsite, but I can understand why it's not to everyone's taste.
It's a pitch up anywhere you can find job with loads of room when I arrived. Nobody in reception when I got there (which was quite late to be fair), but really clear instructions left on the door on how to check in.
Overall absolutely no stress whatsoever and had a great time.

The downside would be that you're probably not guaranteed a good pitch in peak times, because it is on a hill. Probably not what familes or groups are after either, but fantastic for couples or solo campers after a low key chilled time away.

I stayed in this campsite a while back. And I have to admit that it is a very nice peaceful place. I cant fault them for telling a rowdy gang of people to leave the property as they knew what they were doing. The facilities were very clean and just what I needed for my visit. Definitely worth another visit

Lovely campsite with great views, about 1 mile walk to the start of Llanberis path. Clean facilities, hot water, toilet paper available. Showers will cost you £1 for 8min. The only downside is that its hard to find a place to put the tent up, most of the fields are on the slope but it means its less people. Would come back again.

I loved this campsite. Being a first time solo camper (well, with my dog) I was a bit anxious about how everything would pan out. I didn't need to be anxious at all. I felt right at home here. I was super lucky with the weather for 3 of the 5 days and the views from here were just stunning. I didn't get the ladies name that I had the pleasure of speaking with but she really was lovely. I have never been to Wales before either so it really was a whole new experience. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. The loos and showers are clean. Overall, we had a fantastic stay! My dog loved meeting some of the dogs that work and stay nearby so she made some friends and felt right at home too. I liked that we could pick our own pitch and I could have my car next to me. I also liked there was a separate field for tents without their cars. For a 'back to basics' camp site, it really had everything we could need and I won't stop singing it's praises. Thank you for making my first solo camp so straightforward and giving me the confidence to do it again. I can only hope other campsites are as welcoming as this one.

Great campsite, it's a working farm and on a hill, so can be tricky finding a flat spot, but plenty of room available. Toilets, shower's and utility room with microwave (small fee) kettle, fridge and freezer. Charging point's also available. Owners are all nice and friendly.
Good access to both llanberis and Snowdon ranger path's

If you have plan to hike snowdon via Llainberies or Pen-y-pass this is the perfect campsite as you can walk to the town from there.
They have 2 large fields and staff are very friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers are very clean and get checked regularly.I will definitely go back in a month time.

Great spot - stunning views and an awesome location. You can walk down to the shops and restaurants in less than 10 mins, on the Llanberis path up to Snowdon, can drive to major Snowdonia areas for climbing/hiking/sightseeing.

Lovely friendly proprietors running the place and I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness of faculties. Considering I was there over August bank holiday (so prob the most busy even with covid restrictions) and super wet and muddy I didn't even once have anything less than a perfectly clean toilet, sink or shower.

Showers take a £1 coin but are nice and hot. Plenty of hot water at the washing up sinks. Reception will charge your phone for a donation to mountain rescue.

Nice vibe, very quiet in the evening and at night. No noisy groups.

The site is on a hill and more suited for smaller tents I would say as limited flatter spots for 'family' style tents.

I would certainly return here.

Fantastic basic campsite, plenty off space, clean facing and only a 10min walk into town. Friendly reception, would definitely visit again.

AMAZING! Seriously if you are looking for campsites in the area stop now, this is the one you want! Toilet block (cleaned regularly) with shower facilities that are £1 coin operated (very generous amount of time). Friendly staff, tuck shop at reception with cold drinks etc. Sack of logs for camp fire is only £5. I have spent 4 nights here, find your own pitch in the field, cheap as chips and I can't rate this highly enough! They even offer facility to plug in phone charger for a small donation which helped me out as came up on motorbike. Will be coming back for sure! Excellent!

Excellent campsite with beautiful views, not too crowded or noisey. Also campfires are allowed which was brilliant to be sat around. Location is spot on as well and the ladies that worked there were really nice a helpful. We originally booked one night as that was all that was left on the website but they let us stay an extra night despite being fully booked. We will definitely be coming here soon

Once you reached the owner (who is nice but very busy) and you can check in, this is a really good campsite and an excellent base for doing llanberis path and ranger s path. There is a link between them. They have a map at the reception, we trusted in gpx though. You cross private property on the way.
Shower block, washing up area with hot water - basics provided, prices were appropriate.

We've been camping on this site every year for the last 6 and will be again this year. We've watched a lot of time and money get poured into it in that time with facilities improving every year. The price has always been fair, especially compared to a lot of other sites in Snowdonia.

We rely on public transport to reach the site and it's a 6 to 8 hour journey so we only carry the essentials and find that their facilities are perfectly functional and more than adequate for us to spend a week.

Staff always focus on site issues when they are raised and have always been friendly. They work incredibly hard and seem to be doing something at all hours. As others have said they're not always around to deal with things but the site is on a working farm and it's never that long (no more than 2 hours). When it's very busy you do see the toilets run out of tissue etc occasionally as others have said but this is fairly common when travelling or camping in general and keeping a pack of tissues in your pocket is always a good idea.

It can be a little bit hard to find the first time round and if you are carrying all your equipment then the walk up the hill to the site can be a trial by fire but does a good job stretching your legs in preparation for a week of walking.

The site itself is very hilly but there are flat areas. Some parts can get a bit waterlogged and the ground is full of slate so make sure you have decent heavy duty pegs and pick your pitch wisely. The wind can also come thundering down at very high speeds which can really test your tent and ability to sleep but it's very exciting.

We've never felt the need to go to any other site in the area and would happily keep going back every year.

For me the perfect, dog friendly, basic campsite that I stay at in my van. The drawbacks, such as coin operated showers, can be forgiven as dogs are allowed and the location is great for running and hiking.

Great campsite to stay it if you’re looking to climb Snowdon. It has a modern toilet and shower block. Showers need £1 coins to operate and are hot and work well. Toilets clean. Staff friendly. Nice laid back place. Would definitely return sometime.

Ideal base for Llanberis Pass to Snowdon. Lovely staff. Clean well stocked facilities. Site says basic… should say a natural beauty with breath taking views of the Mountains.

Campings great, staff are very helpful (I drained my car battery overnight and owner happily jump started me) and £10 a night is good value in such a busy location.

You can get very good fresh free range eggs onsite, and if you want to head up some of the smaller mountains there's direct access from the road out the back of the campsite.

Its also high on a hillside so you get beautiful views of Llanberis and the valley.

Overall great week camping.

A beautiful scenic campsite.👍
With a perfect location for climbing Snowdon or exploring Llanberis! It's also well placed for visiting other sights in Snowdonia 🌄
It's has very good facilities and the nicest, friendliest and most helpful staff I have come across in a long time!! Another plus point for me is that it is dog friendly although I believe there is a dog free field available? If you are looking for a perfectly flat site with hardstanding and hooks ups then it's not for you 🤔 but if you want a lovely quiet scenic spot for your campervan or tent then I can highly recommend it!! This was the second time we visited the campsite whilst staying in Wales.

Got to say I enjoy it every time we come, it's such a beautiful location with the mountains and lake view. A lot of areas to choose to camp at and you can even have you car next to you if you need at certain areas.

There are seperate mens and womens toilet and showe facilities, 2 toilets, 2 shower cubicals and 3 sinks. The facilities were surprisingly clean and nice to use for a public toilet.

You can have camp fires, definitely worth finding some nice rocks to use, the facilities do sell wood but we found it not the best and used the ones from B and M instead.

You get a really nice peaceful atmosphere, whilst we stayed there were a couple of guys getting drunk and shouting at each other at late evening and staff were nice enough to get to calm down.

We were awoken pretty early by the sounds of tractors and vehicles moving around the areas, maybe at like 4-5 am which kinda sucked but apart from that I have zero complaints.

The local town is lovely and worth a trip down, and of course there is the train station to take you up to Snowden.

Just remember to book in advance and not just show up on the day.
