BMA has been great for our son starting out a few years ago with kickboxing...years on and he can't wait to get to training and just loves it! BMA is such an inclusive club and all of the Senseis are brilliant. Now our whole family enjoy kickboxing and Krav Maga and feel a lot fitter and stronger for it. We'd highly recommend BMA.Its a great club!

Burman’s Martial Arts is an incredible martial arts school! I’ve been kickboxing with them a long time and absolutely recommend them to anyone! They have a genuine passion for the Arts and for the people they teach, getting to know each person individually and making everyone feel part of the BMA family. They teach self defence, discipline, fitness and also valuable life lessons on keeping a positive mindset and living a positive life. They help kids (and adults!) with their confidence and always provide an ear to listen! I’m so glad I joined BMA and it has had such an important impact on my life! I am proud to always feel part of the BMA family!

To date, the best money I have spent on my kids! My eldest has been karate training at BMA for nearly five years, and my youngest for over two years. As well as learning karate, BMA has given them confidence, kept them fit, taught them respect and discipline, and has bought joy to their lives. Sensei Sara is an inspiring teacher and role model. She, and the other Senseis, are excellent. Would highly recommend.

When I moved to North Wales last summer and joined BMA, everything changed for me.
Having done martial arts for a year before that in the city I knew the sports is great for me. However, the feeling I had in my previous school was nothing compared to what I found with BMA. I received a very warm welcome and felt super comfortable and looked after from the moment I messaged them and received a prompt reply from Karen. Everyone is incredibly friendly and warm-hearted and everyone supports each other. Students of all levels train together and the senseis care so much about every single individual that they know how exactly how to get the best out of you. The sessions are a great mix of fun and discipline and you definitely feel what you’ve done for your body and mind after them. :)
Joining BMA was the best decision ever and I cannot imagine a life without my Tuesday and Thursday kickboxing sessions.

The best decision I made as a mum. My daughter leaves feeling positive, motivated, and included, not once or twice, but every session, sports can often be overcompetative, but she loves to train,. I love knowing that she can instinctively look after herself, and is aware of how to keep herself safe. I cannot praise the care and respect she is shown by all the lovely team enough. Amazing x

I've been coming here for about 4 years now to practice Krav Maga and I can't fault the place. The instructors are all knowledgeable, helpful and are themselves always training to improve their skills and pass on what they learn. The classes run several times a week, and there's a good variety of students (male and female) of varying skills and fitness levels, so if you're starting without any previous training you won't be left behind.

This school is affiliated with Krav Maga Worldwide, meaning you'll be taught from a recognized (and constantly evolving) syllabus that has been proven to work well and effectively. There are many places around that offer "Krav Maga" without any association with these regulatory bodies, which in all honesty, ranks their training as somewhere between watching videos on Instagram and just buying a blackbelt off of eBay (seriously, avoid these places like the plague)

Aside from Krav Maga, they also offer classes in Shukokai Karate and Kickboxing (for both adults and kids) all of which has a good turnout of students, so there's something for every taste.

Every effort is made to make sure the place is clean and safe, and to their credit, the instructors broke their backs during the COVID lockdowns to ensure that everyone was still able to train, and train safely.

I really can’t recommend BMA enough. I’m self-described as ‘built for comfort, not speed’, and struggle with self-motivation when it comes to exercise, so joined krav classes to try and kick myself into gear. After a year, not only am I the fittest and strongest I’ve been in my life, I’ve also found krav to be a fantastic coping mechanism for anxiety and a great stress buster. I was apprehensive at first to join a class so focussed on fitness, but you won’t find a more welcoming crowd of classmates and Senseis. Unfortunately for me, training times clash with current work commitments, but I miss it tremendously and can’t wait for the day I can come back.

If you’re thinking about joining, just do it. You won’t regret it!

Awesome place to train. Great atmosphere and phenomenal Senseis. Would highly recommend for anyone of any age looking to try something new.
