Amazing people lovely atmosphere and good food!
Everything you need to go explore this beautiful region.
Just don't forget a good raincoat in that region, but even then they have the space to let everything dry so you can start all fresh on your next trip.

A comfortable stay, warm, dry, clean! The Dinorwig Lodge team were great, they've thought about all the little things you might need as a walker or climber.
Excellent food and great value too.

Sonnie is a very accommodating host and gave us great advice on the route to take that day which we loved. The place is lovely and great value, slept and ate well, thank you Sonnie, see you again soon I hope 🙂

Amazing people amazing prices and amazing views. Overall 9/10 experience due to the slight difficulty of accessing the lodge from lanberis.

Having never stayed in a Hostel before I fully admit the snob in me turned my nose up a bit and legit debated googling the nearest Hilton.

I’m glad I didn’t bother. This place is honestly fantastic. Clean, tidy and very homely. Showers red hot as well!

The view as well….wow. There was however one thing better than the view (yes that’s possible)…. let’s get down to business….the “grub”. It was absolutely divine, as Borat would say, “wow wow wee wa!”

I’d pay more than the cost of board for the food alone. Def recommend the sausage and egg bap with ketchup (obvs)

Evening meal the lasagne was restaurant grade, I looked but couldn’t find their Michelin Star anywhere, weird as it definitely deserves one.

There was semi genuine talk in our group of kidnapping the cooks and bringing them home with us 😂

Thanks again to the hosts and what a great place. If your a snob like me then don’t even think twice, get it booked and get that food in your belly!

One of the best stay experiences I've ever had. Extremely clean and organized, with a great breakfast and the option of a very good dinner for just a small amount per night. Very nice common areas and place to dry wet clothes and shoes. The owners are very friendly and available to help with tips about the region, which they know very well. I had a wonderful time in this beautiful place.

Lovey friendly people who run the lodge. Mixed room double bunk beds which have curtains to pull round the individual bunk bed have plus plug for charging phone.

This is the most beautiful hostel you can imagine. An old school house, the hostel has been converted to be full of character with many original features. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, they make you feel at home right away. The food is excellent. It's very clean, spacious beds, great hot showers. I've stayed here 4 times now and love it. Plenty of room for kit storage and a drying room.

Wonderful gem of a place ideally suited to walkers or anyone looking for great value accommodation in Snowdonia. The place is clean and well maintained with lots of lovely touches and a comfortable, homely lounge, and the owners are friendly and helpful. Add to that the fantastic food and the amazing location and this place really does take some beating!

Fantastic little hostel. Well worth the money. Breakfast was excellent and had probably the best Latte I ever tasted. It has a stunning view from the carpark.
The communal area was well decorated.
Beds are very comfortable and separated with walls and curtains.

Fantastic place - a hidden gem. Amazing views of Snowdon & Crib Goch right from the car park. Beds were the best I've encountered in a hostel, with privacy curtains. Lovely breakfast. The host couldn't have been friendlier, and made a great recommendation for a walk. 10/10 will be back

Fabulous hostel with a very friendly and attentive team. Great aspect overlooking Llanberis and Llyn Padarn with views across to Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon. The hostel itself has great amenities, comfy bedrooms and a lovely recreational area. Breakfast, packed lunches and dinner all excellent. Value for money very good. Would definitely come back on future trips to Eryri / Snowdonia.

Beautiful location with stunning views. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. The facilities are top quality and the food is all home made, delicious and beautifully presented. Will defiantly be staying here again!

Stunning location, amazing views, photos don’t do it justice. Friendly and helpful couple running the hostel. Evening meal was home cooked and very good and breakfast was also good. Highly recommend this stopover. Lots of parking and very friendly and welcoming to motorcyclists.

Delicious coffee and soup. Nice atmosphere, comfy and welcoming environment, inside. Amazing views from the tables outside. Good selection of vegan, vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Staff very pleasant, friendly and efficient. Prices competitive. Next time I am going try one of their delicious looking cakes.

Phenomenal location, views and stay! Went for a stag trip and had the whole place booked for out party. Breakfast, Dinner, host making coffees and serving breakfast was all on point and the bedrooms were super comfy with two pillows and soft duvet.

Will be back at some point for sure!

Friendly waiting staff, exceptionally well-behaved cafe doggos and delicious brunch/lunch offerings.
Cake and coffee also some of the best - I just miss the full veggie breakfasts! Always happy to visit and a great stop-off before or after a stroll in the quarries.

My stay at Lodge Dinorwig was excellent, the views were out of this world and the staff were so amazing and helpful. They had a wide choice for breakfast. It was so homely like and comfy in the lounge are to relax after a long and piping hot water to shower in. The beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a nice cheap stay just outside of Llanberis . Top notch, I will be booking again in the future. Thank you so much for a pleasurable stay 👌

Spotlessly clean, lovely communal area, good food and good facilities, nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Great for a group of friends or family. Spectacular views of snowdonia. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to have lunch. Little off the beaten track but well worth the effort, with some stunning views over the lake.

Dog friendly was a big plus, both in and out, and all the food we had was excellent.
